They fixed all the launch issues that tanked the game. It works well offline and online now, but after the broken launch no one plays it; all the multiplayer servers are dead. Hopefully people will come back to this collection someday
Estafa absoluta, Aspyr no tenéis vergüenza ni la conocéis. Con este y con todos vuestros ports de mierda. Mira que no es difícil, pero habéis cagado estos ports a mas no poder. Mal rendimiento, servidores penosos (se caen o ni van) y por algún motivo los controles dejan de funcionar o tienen un retardo brutal. Hacedme caso y pillar el Battlefront 2 clásico que esta disponible y va 100 veces mejor.

despite the unesessary amount hate for this game this is the most accessible way to experience classic battlefront and regardless of how bad things were at launch now that things have mellowed out the game is great and honestly i want people to come back to this game and get these online servers up and movin again cause its our responsibility as the fans to show continued interest in this so EA doesnt end up being the ones to make battlefront 3
After the initial release fiasco, I do believe everything is back to working order besides the AI being a little goofier than the original. I never attempted the online play so I have no clue if that was fixed and worthwhile. Still ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that they stole the mod for the dlc characters in battlefront 2 and no one is forgetting that anytime soon. Overall tho, it's not a remaster, more like a re-release for modern systems that is worth picking up on sale.
Even after relase there still a lot of noticeable bugs casuing parts of the game to be unplayable like instant action for Battle front 2 dosen't work without a controller. At the moment dosen't seem like the devs are willing to come back and fix this game they mostly just advertising their other ports so in good faith i can"t recommend it.

Сначала я со скепсисом относился к негативным отзывам на это издание. Ну да, оверпрайс, но на скидке пойдет. Ну да, проблемы с сетевой игрой, но я вроде как ботов пострелять пришёл. Но потом у меня не прогрузилась кнопка "принять лицензионное соглашение" и я не смог попасть в игру. И как то сразу всё стало на свои места. Спасибо за топовое переиздание классики)
scam don't buy
Unquestionably worse than the games released in the early 2003, this shame of a game is an absolute disgrace to my childhood. I went to plug my playstation 2 back up and popped the OG battlefront 2 in and actually had a good time. Do not waste your money on this
