Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Aug 27 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 2: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

There's a few things in this port that I like such as the split-screen, increased model memory limits, removal of the low resolution models (LOD system), and the cinematic menus. The terrible AI upscaling and buggy multiplayer ruin it. The older ports are much more playable. Also I don't understand why the split-screen is only 2 players. The Xbox version is 4 so this should be too! Also add some netcode options such as tickrate adjustments etc.
Even after all patches - I could just bear 15 minutes of gameplay. It's probably the worst remake I have ever played. The UI was changed for the worst. You can't even accept the "Terms and Conditions" when you first start the game unless you change the game language to english. The Accept-Button is greyed out otherwise. If I could refund this game I would. Do not buy this - instead buy the originals.
Star Wars Battlefront II is one of the first three games I can remember ever playing. This classic collection is fun, but definitely not worth the cost. The game looks and plays like the originals and has everything I remember from the mid-2000s, but that’s about it. There’s very little additional content, so the increase in price when the originals are still available is a waste. There were some issues and bugs on launch but they didn’t personally get in the way of my enjoyment. However, because of that and the overall disappointment, very few people play the game so online multiplayer is rare. About the only thing about this collection over the originals is the ability to earn 45 achievements, if you really want them, but they were quite glitchy. Fun and nostalgic for me, but don’t buy it.
This game is buggy. And has no reason to be over 60gigs in size
I've only played singleplayer. After the disastrous launch, the devs did not abandon the game and have kept providing updates/fixes. The most recent update finally gave me the last achievement. Are the classic versions just as good/better? Probably, but if you buy this on sale, the singleplayer aspects are now decent enough.
garbage
I am genuinely mad at myself for buying this game and not returning it. I'm more upset with myself than I am at how poorly this collection was launched and proceeds to exist in its current state.
