I like the XCOM games, and strategy games in general. I kind of know within a few hours if I'm going to enjoy playing through the game. This game starts off strong, and I'm very interested. The story is compelling, the acting good, and cutscenes fun, the characters interesting...which is saying something given it is a strategy game. The strategy is deep enough so far that I had to restart the game after a few hours because I realized there were things I didn't take seriously enough, and all of my characters were wounded already. I did not mind restarting, it is still fun, and fun to know better how I can improve. Fun times. Thanks for this game. A fun surprise in the gaming world. Didn't expect this to be good.

Game has crashed 4 times in the first hour. It crashed for the first time at the very end of the first tutorial mission, coming back puts me in the same spot and I haven't been able to progress since. Gameplay seems great from the little I've played, but it would be nice to play the game without crashes.
Love the individual stories and how they connect to each other and the feel of combat beautiful game

If you like this type of game it is great!! Camera is a little buggy at times, but all and all, it is really enjoyable. (Some of the voice acting is crap)

i wanted Star Wars XCom and instead i got Star Wars Marvel Midnight Suns / XCom which isn't something i personally find worth complaining about. it's pretty clearly on the lower side of budget (again, very Marvel Midnight Suns. i think this is a game that any major publisher would view as a niche title on a good day despite the license.) but it does a lot with what it has and is overall a satisfying experience if you don't live in a world where everything needs to be presented as The Big AAA Game Of The Season. gameplay fun, story fun, performances are good, characters are all nicely likable which is super rare in a game like this - just a good little package.
