Clearly not polished game, too much stupid humor disrupts the mood and story is predictable and boring. Gameplay is not smooth, bugs are not uncommon and game design can be frustrating. Worldbuilding and art is good, but again it is a star wars game so it is to be expected. Even so exploring can feel unrewarding because most of the time rewards are cosmetics or poorly written and/or vague pieces of lore. I guess it can be an enjoyable experience but certainly not what expected and would not recommend
Leave it up to Ubisoft and EA to always make a dead horse. Such beautiful views and visual effects but fundamentally at its core it is rotten.
Has the best lightsaber combat out of any star wars game i've ever played.
amo esse jogo amo star wars
"Become a Jedi," they said. Nobody mentioned I'd spend half the game climbing walls, solving puzzles, getting lost for 45 minutes, and collecting cosmetics I'll never wear. The combat makes you feel like a Jedi... right until a random goat launches you off a cliff and reminds you that you're actually just Cal with trust issues. Great story, satisfying lightsaber combat, gorgeous planets, and BD-1 deserves employee of the year. 10/10. Still ignited the lightsaber every chance I got because it never stopped being cool.
It's a 7.5/10 game for me. A Souls-lite brawler wrapped in genuinely great Star Wars storytelling. Cal Kestis starts rusty and weak, and watching him reclaim his abilities alongside the plot progression is one of the best-integrated narrative/gameplay loops I've played in a while. Combat looks fantastic every parry, dodge, and lightsaber swing is cinematic and satisfying to watch. That said, don't expect Sekiro-level difficulty. Even on the hardest setting, I rarely felt truly threatened once I had a few skills unlocked. It's more about looking cool than being punished, which isn't a bad thing, just don't go in expecting a brutal challenge. The Metroidvania exploration is a highlight early on unlocking new Force powers to access previously blocked paths feels great. Unfortunately, the minimap is where the experience sours over long sessions. It's functional for the first several hours, but on bigger, more vertical maps it becomes genuinely hard to parse, and squinting at it to figure out where to go next got old fast. One more thing: play this with a controller. Don't even try mouse and keyboard the combat timing and camera just aren't built for it, and you'll fight the controls more than the enemies. Still, the strong Cere/Greez/Cal dynamic, the Mantis as a home base, and the overall polish make this an easy recommend for Star Wars fans, even with its rough edges.
This game has 'Disney Star Wars' written all over it - overpriced and underproduced. Gameplay mechanics are clunky and annoying, lightsaber combat is barely worth mentioning, and the story and characters are forgettable. Compare this Bantha fodder to classic LucasArts titles like Jedi Academy and The Force Unleashed. Just play one of those instead, it will be cheaper and a whole lot more fun.
