Hatte sowas wie "The Force Unleashed" erwartet,..
OMFG this game is boring, all it has is " w00 w00 Lightsaber w00". If you fart chocolate sprinkles over anything with a Lightsaber in it, you'll love it. If you value compelling characters, innovative gameplay, interesting levels/maps, well developed main characters or frankly, just a game that's anywhere near as good as all the jedi games that have come before it.....you're going to be disappointed. The premise of the story is fine enough, a good idea even, it's executed with all the writing chops and style of a bunch of dead wasps in a feather duster. Which is mostly what playing this game feels like. Button mashing to wave about a tw*tstick to bash a bunch of annoying tw*ts. I realise OFC that this is only a console port (only after I started playing it unfortunately though) so you can't really expect that much, but really. Why is this so much worse than all those fantastic jedi games from ages ago? I played that series all the way from Dark Forces and up to Jedi Academy, they were all WAAAY better than this sorry excuse for a Star Wars game. The only characters in this game worth spending your time on (up to where I've gotten, and I don't think I'm going to continue TBH) are: The one that dies and the writers waste his death completely by not using it to hook the player into caring about the other character present; The droid, who you barely interact with as the player; The guy in the hologram, who is actually a pretty awesome character but again you barely get any time to enjoy it. You essentially spend all your time platforming around with the main character, who has a serious lack of personality. Also, and I'm not going to press this one too hard because I think it's actually a CG capture of a real actor, the face of a moody, pouty faced teenager, which are already everywhere, so here - come spend twenty hours with another one (I have no idea how long the game lasts I was just making a point). A long time ago in a studio nearby, or quite far away.... They made some decent SW games, just not today.
its just a great game... In my opinion 8/10 for overall. If u have a star wars ich or want a good story with a hot nightsister. GET IT!

It's a 7.5/10 game for me. A Souls-lite brawler wrapped in genuinely great Star Wars storytelling. Cal Kestis starts rusty and weak, and watching him reclaim his abilities alongside the plot progression is one of the best-integrated narrative/gameplay loops I've played in a while. Combat looks fantastic every parry, dodge, and lightsaber swing is cinematic and satisfying to watch. That said, don't expect Sekiro-level difficulty. Even on the hardest setting, I rarely felt truly threatened once I had a few skills unlocked. It's more about looking cool than being punished, which isn't a bad thing, just don't go in expecting a brutal challenge. The Metroidvania exploration is a highlight early on unlocking new Force powers to access previously blocked paths feels great. Unfortunately, the minimap is where the experience sours over long sessions. It's functional for the first several hours, but on bigger, more vertical maps it becomes genuinely hard to parse, and squinting at it to figure out where to go next got old fast. One more thing: play this with a controller. Don't even try mouse and keyboard the combat timing and camera just aren't built for it, and you'll fight the controls more than the enemies. Still, the strong Cere/Greez/Cal dynamic, the Mantis as a home base, and the overall polish make this an easy recommend for Star Wars fans, even with its rough edges.
Clearly not polished game, too much stupid humor disrupts the mood and story is predictable and boring. Gameplay is not smooth, bugs are not uncommon and game design can be frustrating. Worldbuilding and art is good, but again it is a star wars game so it is to be expected. Even so exploring can feel unrewarding because most of the time rewards are cosmetics or poorly written and/or vague pieces of lore. I guess it can be an enjoyable experience but certainly not what expected and would not recommend
