About
Hop into the driver's seat of your rocket-powered big rig as you haul cargo, scavenge for salvage and interact with an eclectic cast of star-hopping truckers in this Americana-infused journey on the ultimate open road - space!

Hi, this is Monster and Monster. Star Trucker is our tiny indie team's passion project, and we’re committed to making it the best intergalactic trucking game we can. By listening to the community, we’re working hard to improve the experience with every update. So buckle up and join us for the long haul!

Your truck is not a starship. We’ve taken typical vehicular controls then made sure zero-g momentum played a big part in maneuvers. The result is a unique driving experience that’s easy to pick up yet hard to master!
Cruise the hyper highways, taking on a variety of jobs such as fuel hungry long hauls and hazardous drop-offs to earn cash and unlock new content.
And don't forget to monitor the CB radio for chatter from fellow truckers; it's a fantastic way to uncover side gigs and stay updated on galactic gossip.

Keeping your rig runnin’ isn’t always easy. You’ll need to keep your core systems online, gravity compensator spinnin’ and hull patched to prevent your cab from leaking lung juice.
Be sure to make pre-trip shop stops for replacement parts, and consider upgrading your truck at a local garage. These improvements are vital for safely navigating volatile sectors and ensuring timely deliveries.

Use the galactic map to plan your journey and warp jumps, while keeping an eye on your fuel reserves and power levels.
Once your route is set, kick back, crank up the cab hi-fi and cruise to a selection of original songs covering starburst blues, galactic rock and asteroid infused americana. The open road is waiting!

Genuinely fun, comfortably challenging, entertaining voice acting, great music, beautiful scenery and atmosphere. The campaign ("side jobs") is kindof short; I finished it in about 20 hours without rushing, but it does end teasing future expansion. (To be fair, that's 20 hours on my second save slot; I spent a little over 6 hours learning the basics on my first save slot.) Controlling the truck is a pain at first but it's really rewarding developing the skill to maneuver it effectively. The default settings are a little too challenging; like others I recommend starting a custom game and turning down the power consumption a notch or two, among other tweaks (there are a lot of videos out there about it, so I won't bother listing them here). In short, I love this game and highly anticipate its future updates. Highly recommended.

My hopes for the future: -Balance/rework scavenging and trading such that you need to spend skill points to spec into these activities to make them viable. It's a little silly that right now pretty much throughout the entire game you can earn way more money trading and scavenging than by making hauls. -Hardcases that don't begin spinning when you open them in zero-g -Actually seeing the other truckers from the side jobs (instead of only hearing them on the CB) -Customizable (or silenceable) horn -A way to reopen the store or job interface from the driver seat if you close it (or be able tab over to the map on the Job list) -The ability to hitch up trailers from multiple jobs simultaneously -Cargo nets and/or a lip on the cargo racks and/or more fixed storage like the hidden compartment -Additional cab styles and/or different vehicles altogether (zipping around in those little tugs to scout, scavenge, or make small deliveries would be really cool) -The ability to recharge power cores -Customizable exterior light style & color -Engine propellant color customization

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

So far I've been really enjoying Star Trucker, it's simultaneously relaxing and a little stressful but it strikes the balance really well! I just wish there was a pause feature for the side jobs, because it's difficult to manage your money when you need to do deliveries but can't because the side jobs can expire. I think if you could pause them, it would negate this issue.
OK game. Kinda regret the 26 ish bucks I paid for it tho. I feel like there should be some unpredictable thing that happens, like the time warp could get shut down and you could be boarded by pirates. But then like something to defend yourself with would be cool. Also, the ability to repair maybe the engines, not just patch them up, and maybe even able to buy completely new ones and either be able to install those yourself or have someone else do it. Also, things like getting pulled over would be cool too, and police chases would also kinda be nice (not that you'd get very far lol). Also, just like the actual ability to go insde stations and request jobs and stuff; by that I mean actually having a port to exit your truck (stock hatch could be used), so you can actually enter stores and job listings and workshops and talk to people. Two more things: the abiility to change your truck would be cool, and Space jakes (which I saw on another review) would be awesome. Overall decent game, could just use some stuff that would really make that $26 a lot more worth it. P.S. MAybe some alternate travel routes, ability to explore your own systems, start a trucking company etc. would be awesome, yet again.

Love this kind of open world game, with trading etc. No combat, which is fine for me. The plot is relatively tame but a good mechanic for exploring and unlocking things. Not hard. The ending is just a little disappointing, won't say any more. Still, I enjoy it for idle relaxation.
игра классная все кто говорят про "тяжелое управление" казуальщики для которых в кликер играть уже тяжело
Having played on PC and then mostly PS5, I have a total of around 40 hours now. I can honestly say, this game is a labour of love and deserves a lot more praise than it gets. I will preface this review by saying, this is meant for someone who enjoys transport sims like ATS and MSFS, it’s mostly just delivering cargo over long stretches of space-road like highways, although with some fun arcady flair. If you are expecting a grand story, there’s some interesting characters and a very loose semblance of a plot, but it’s not the main event here. The flight model too is nothing like an elite dangerous and it’s not supposed to be. This is a big rig in space, not a space ship. It’s heavy and clunky, and that’s a massive part of the appeal. Navigating space with such an unwieldy chunk of metal takes patience and eventually satisfying skill, particularly when you factor different environmental factors and hazards that could ruin your payout and reputation with a small mistake. I love how many options there are when you are in the big seat, from turning off each thruster individually, activating thruster chokes when they get too cold and seize up, to closing shutters and cranking the aircon in sweltering solar storms. There are so many other little details outside of this too, such as the gradual decay of chipped paint as you wear down your hull, to the unique building models in every different location, and the classic ads that come across the radio. Each place tells a story, indirectly at least, and I loved piecing together (or making up) my reason for each place existing and the history of every location. This game world is pure fantasy, let’s be honest. There is no reason to have big rigs in space and it frankly makes no sense, but that’s all part of the fun. This is somewhere between a trucking sim and a space game, it doesn’t do either perfectly, but what it does do is scratch a very specific itch for goofy transport fantasy combined with hardline immersive sim like details that keep me making just more delivery. I have loved my time with this game and I really hope the updates keep coming, I’ve never played anything quite like it.
Traffic Jam at a jump gate. My thoughts "damn it I still can't escape I35 traffic, space I35 is just as bad!" Good game, goofy moments but it's fun trucker game in space that has some hilarious moments when in a voice chat with friends streaming.
