Fun game and story. Gameplay is pretty mundane but fun for Trek fans. PVP is total trash. The stats that are given are GROSSLY misleading. Teams with half the power do 10X damage with no obvious cause. This kind of game mechanic is why I usually don't play this type of game. However, OVERALL, if you stay away from PVP, its an enjoyable game.
Keeps Crashing
Fun game for what it is. Don't expect to be collecting cool people straight off the bat though, lots of generics to start.
I'm so sad that this game is dead (as in the devs doesn't seem to do any updates/add content). I really like the "gatcha-game-format" of collecting characters, but I despise micro transactions, pay to win and content locked behind paywalls. THIS GAME however, have the gatcha but WITHOUT in-game transactions! You only pay for the game itself, the rest is quite easily obtained by just playing the game! The campaign is quite short, and when you're done with it, there's not much to do besides some PvP and PvE "survival mode". Or just collect and fully upgrade your favorite characters. Some flaws I want you to know about before buying this game: - As mentioned before, the game is "dead". There are no updates, events or new content added. - The game crashes if it has been on for about 1h, which can be frustrating. But tbh, it's quick to boot up again and it's not like you fight long difficult boss battles or anything. - There are a few graphics and texture glitches sometimes, but those are not really game breaking. - It is definitely not worth it's full price. I bought it on sale for like 4-5€, and I would not spend more than that. - I do not own the DLC, but I've read that there are bugs coming with that one too, so it would be wise to look that up before getting it. Despite all the flaws I really do enjoy this game, and I recommend it to all Star Trek fans who are considering buying it! LLAP
Its not for eveyone. But I love the turn bases RPG style. The random character unlock is abit slow but over all im having fun with it,
I bought this game with great trepidation, but I was quite pleased to find a great "Trek-nation" waiting for me. Is it a mobile port to PC with some unusual quirkiness that would puzzle a Vulcan? Definitely. There are some bugs, some scrolling frustrations, and some crashes, but they seem to be localized (meaning you can push past them with persistence). But if you go in managing your expectations, there is a genuine appreciation for the franchise here. What Works:

Lore-Friendly Framework: The Nexus ribbon, while a bit cheesy, is the perfect canonical plot device to bridge multiple timelines and bring the galaxy together.
Actor-Accurate Animations: The character animations are exceedingly well done. If you pay close attention to the main skill animations, you'll see the developers actually took the time to mirror the real-life actor's physical style. McCoy is easily one of the most precisely animated characters I've seen so far, though I haven't unlocked everyone yet.
No Real-Money Greed: Collecting characters reminds me A LOT of Star Trek Online's lockboxes (and not in a good way). However, unlike STO, this PC port has been completely rid of that predatory, real-money scheme. Quark is even retained in the old, greedy "Store" function, but he's been thoroughly Sisko-tamed. The virtual currency multiplies like Tribbles, so it's hard to complain.
Spot-On Dialogue: Characters from different eras interact smoothly and respect their respective timelines. The dialogue exchanges aren't incredibly deep, but they are largely spot-on and clearly written by actual Trekkies.
The Friction: The game is far from perfect. I already mentioned the bugs and such (but so far I'm level 80 in the game, and I got past them, and they have stopped (for now). There are some odd character groupings and omissions, and the loop is beyond grindy. You will find yourself "summoning" over and over, pulling identical characters you don't want dozens of times. Fortunately, there are several different gameplay modes to help ease the burden and distract you from the repetition. And those repeated character pulls, they aren't all wasted, as duplicate character pulls allow you to rank up a character. Verdict: True to the nature of the collection mechanic, it remains highly satisfying when you finally secure your favorite characters. If you go in knowing exactly what kind of game to expect, you will find this title very satisfying. Game long, and prosper!
It is a Great Game that is filled with Star Trek Fan Nostalgia. I am 3 Hours in and I'm hooked, but there has been a weird Bug that keeps kicking me out of the game.
This game crashes a lot. And I mean A LOT. Several times per day. Fortunately it saves your progress before that happens, but I still can't recommend this unless you have loads of patience. Beyond that it's a fun (if somewhat repetitive) game.
Cute character styling. Typical mobile game loop. An addictive grind. Could be more enjoyable without the constant crashing. Would welcome the following improvements: - way to view your inventory when in the shop so you're not buying blindly or bouncing from menu to menu to see what you already have - crew member stats when filling the away team roster - recommended stats for areas you're about to enter - mission map with stats, better indicators on how to 100% - being able to play any operation on any day of the week, I get it, you want people coming back, but it makes grinding for certain resources so much more tedious. - mouse scrolling on the crew page
