I'm far from the most invested fault fan out there. I loved both milestone one and side:above, but I wasn't really following the release of this game too closely. Part of that was due to the gap in releases. 7 years. That's insane. I was still in middle of high school when side:above came out and now I finished a university degree before this side story released. And even with all this wait, the game can be finished in 6 hours at a normal reading pace. 7 years for 6 hours. I can't imagine how frustrating it was for hardcore fans and backers during this time. Despite this, Shigeru Miyamoto's famous quote applies a lot to this game. "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad." Fault - STP - Lightkravte is a great visual novel. One of the highest quality ones out there in some ways. Visually and technically, the game is flawless. So much attention to detail and a gorgeous graphical fidelity really brings the scenes to life. The story and world building are fantastic too. There's some things I'm not a huge fan of, but the positives far outweigh the negatives. I think the only real problem I had with STP is Khaji, the protagonist. The first third of the game is rough. He's unnecessarily horny and it really tarnishes the early experience. Once the story is in full swing it slows down, and eventually you begin to even root for him and his struggles. It's just disappointing he was written to be so insufferable when it served so little to the story. With all this being said, I whole heartedly recommend the fault series and STP is a great addition to it. Here's hoping we get the next one in less than 7 years.

A powerful VN about overcoming hardship, setbacks, and institutional barriers in order to realize your passions. While it has some of the same writing issues as previous entries in the fault series—such as fairly plain prose and boring infodumps—they are less prevalent in LIGHTKRAVTE. The first 10% of the novel is a little slow, and the last 10%, the ending, is somewhat abrupt—all of a sudden the main character overcomes all of his issues—but the majority of the novel is excellent. It's well-paced, there is a real sense that the main character is slowly working towards a breakthrough, and the music and especially the art, from the backgrounds to the sprites to the CGs, are glamorously high quality. Sure, this is not the long-awaited next fault milestone story, but LIGHTKRAVTE stands on its own as a VN of great quality, and gives me hope that that next story will be great, too. 7/10
좋은 이야기예요 9/10
this game SUUUCKS bro LOL The main protagonist is SO UNLIKABLE GOONER INCEL CHUD KID like why TF would i wana play that? give me a cool girl character.. ive bought all the fault games, but this one was unplayable even on sale
LIGHTKRAVTE is something the devs wanted to share with people to show what they are capable of with current tools and engine they have. I must say they delivered, beautiful visuals, an emotional soundtrack, an interesting story about a cute boii named Khaji. Since this game plays before the events of the first two games u get to know Ritona a bit better and you even get to see a cute loli Selphine. Its a psychological deep dive into Khaji's development. The only thing im not so fond of are two "feminized" men you come across. Nonetheless, It's a great game!
Sidequel to the Fault series. It is Cinetic Novel - so choices change nothing, it is just story being told. It has much improved drawing (so big hopes for "Fault milestone 3" when it will be released to have such quality too). Again no voice acting and good music. Again pretty short (4-5 hours). This time it is more slice of life than anything (still present some drama and murders). Some moments are questionable, but normal for anime. In general, if you liked other Fault games - this one will open more about characters from them, but from a side perspective.
