Do not buy even if you're held at gunpoint. This game is dead and those devs can't be bother to acknowledge it. In fact, I'm pretty sure those so-called "devs" are pump and dump scammers parasiting on every established franchise possible. This game initially was a port from Apple Arcade version, which unsurprisingly was abandoned as well due to "expired license/contract". In fact this is the reason why Steam version was created in the first place, with cute promises of making new content. And yet we got half-baked DLC that has recycled content all over the place and is not even playable properly. Yup, somehow they managed to shove in game-breaking bugs with that trash addon. Don't even care about gameplay at this point, even if you find it interesting there's no reason to feed those scammers.

TL;DR - For serious Trekkies with extra cash; wait for a sale. There just isn't enough support for the game through Steam at the moment. You're better off playing this on a mobile device (not sure if that version is free); for this price, I'd only recommend this to serious Trekkies with cash to burn, and even then, wait for a decent sale. I wish I could say better things about the game, but there's just not enough good things to say. Character models are kind of cartoon-y, which isn't bad, just different. Team synergies basically makes you farm for your favorites, and ignore everyone else. Cannot change profile image, name, or adjust music/sfx volume in the Steam version. FAQ only offers support through the 'app store' (not a thing on Steam) The story is pretty.. maybe not bad, but it's definitely not good. I guess you could say it's on par with the latest Star Trek stuff; especially STDiscovery. Man, the devs sure love Burnham. If you thought Wesley was insufferable as a progidy; brace for impact.

I know that I am in the minority, but I really like this game. Have been interested in this ever since it came to Apple Arcade. Since I don't have that subscription, I waited patiently for this to get ported to PC, which fortunately it did, like many other Apple Arcade titles that I collect. So far, this is one of my favorite ones, behind only Hot Lava and Atone: Heart of the Elder Tree (and maybe TMNT: Splintered Fate, but I need to play that more). Speaking of playtime, this is my most played Apple Arcade original, at 20 hours long and still counting. Already have 30 achievements and planning on getting the other 6, which will probably mean close to another dozen hours or so. The combat is simple, but the act of collecting stuff and doing missions besides the main storyline is really addictive. I also want to addres a confusion that is frequently made in reviews here on Steam: no, this game is not a free-to-play game on mobile. It was never free-to-play, it was always made to be a game you either pay for once or get with a subscription fee. All those timers and gacha mechanics are there on purpose. To paraphrase a review I once read, think of this like a sort of "premium gacha" game. Some people like the mechanics of gacha games, but hate the predatory mtx. Well, this one doesn't have any, you pay once and get every feature. I really hope this game will still have some life left in the future. Sure, they could patch it and make it no longer depend on the online servers, but if that ever happens, about half of the fun will be gone. I don't know about other people, but I really like starting this game each day, playing through the events of that day, doing daily goals and seeing my away team return with resources. :)

DO NOT BUY. The game has so many frustrating bugs. It's a shame cause I thought the changes they made were gonna make this a lot better than the iOS version, but alas, they screwed up so many things. The game crashes every hour on the dot. And they messed up the damage equations so some abilities do next to no damage, making a big part of the roster useless. Just a shoddy port and I'm mad I wasted money on this. 0/10.

50 hours on the game for it to glitch during a shuttle mission with my best team on and now cant use them. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME AND EFFORT.

It's actually quite fun to team up characters from different eras and to have them fight villians from different eras. :D

スタートレックのキャラゲーで日本語対応もしているから買ったのだが、色々とひどい。 起動時に「サーバーに接続出来ない」と出てゲームが開始出来ない事が時々あるし（独自サーバーを使ってるおかげでSteamクラウドに対応してなくてもセーブデータが別機種でも共有出来るのだが）、escキーを押しても何も起こらず、設定やゲーム終了は画面左上のキャラ名部分をクリックする必要がある。この仕様がなかなかわからなかったので時間を無駄にした。元がスマホゲーだったにしても何故そんな馬鹿げたUIのままPCで発売した？ あと選択肢が出る部分で青いスイッチが「否定」で、黄色いスイッチが「肯定」の意味になっているのだが、日本語だとスイッチ部分の文字が表示されてないので最初は何もわからず、青が「肯定」だと思って間違って押してしまう。日本語（中国語・韓国語も同様）でスイッチの文字が表示されないのは、少しゲームを触ればすぐにわかる基礎的な不具合なのに何故放置してるのか。まだ開発放棄してないなら修正してほしい。 これがスタートレックじゃなかったら確実に返品していた。

Как же я рад! Вот побольше игр вывели бы из доната мобильного, это первый мне известный случай, именно хорошей и залепательной игры. Купив игру раз, тут не упрешься в донат и бесконечные таблички купи КУПИ купи КУПИ... Это уже полноценная обычная игра, где ты играешь, а не стоишь годам на месте что бы вкачать юнита одного, потому что зажал денег на донат. Вот бы еще Star Wars Galaxy и Star Trek Timelines так же сделали, и тоже цены бы не было, да "бы" мешает.

you can tell this was originally a mobile game, Its not really fun tbh. There was obviously a pay to summon element here.
