Take the reins of a feudal dynasty in a divided galaxy following the destruction of earth. Star Dynasties is a turn based, procedurally generated narrative of human drama and personal politics, mixed with a light empire management layer. Your choices. Your legacy.

Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 17 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Unfortunately, the game still has limited accessibility in terms of language. It does not support Brazilian Portuguese (or other widely used languages), offering only English and German. Since the game is heavily based on text and decision-making, this can make the experience harder for players who are not fluent in English.
Please add Turkish language support. Games like this are likely to be popular in Turkey, but they are not being played because there is no language support. PLEASE TAKE THIS REVIEW INTO CONSIDERATION. ( I will change my review to positive if language support is added. )

Great concept and direction, pitiful amount of events and content. Worth a run at least.
Crusader Kings in space. It has excellent story telling and a unique feel to it. Unfortunately, the battles are not fleshed out and mostly rely on mercenaries but overall it´s pretty good, 8/10! The story each of your rulers write for themselves makes this an excellent game. The feasts are integral part of galactic diplomacy and well, we have all seen Game of Thrones, there can be unexpected outcomes. You send your House members all over the realm and there are so many tasks to manage that you have to prioritise. On top of that, you are expected to judge cases that have only negative outcome no matter how you decide but leaving them unattended will straight out lead to war with other factions, which maybe even desired, who knows, you decide and influence everything here. Your scientiests found xeno life forms? Secretly unleash them on other rulers systems or study them for your knowledge. There is constant unrest on one of your vassals planets? Good, that vassal didn´t like you anyway, time to support a revolt!
I really wish I did research on this game, instead of buying it on impulse. I think it had potential, but felt a little hollow. I was hoping that things would become more complex later into the game. The problem was that after a handful of turns into a game, it would just pause out after I hit End Turn. You could still access certain things, like the main menu (the game wasn't frozen), it just wouldn't go to the next turn. This kept happening. I don't think I made it to turn 10 at any time. Most times I wouldn't make it to turn 4. I could close the game, restart and reload, but the game got stuck as soon as I tried to end the turn again. I tried a few things to see if it would fix the issue, before turning to the steam boards. I happened to check the pinned comments and saw that this was a known issue that could have several causes. The devs were asking for bug reports to presumably fix this issue. This was back in 2021. It looks like this issue won't be getting fixed. It sucks paying for a full game that is just essentially a demo for me. I would have at least have been able to have at least made it through an in game decade,
Easier than Crusader Kings
If you like Crusader Kings but rather focus on the human drama aspect, this might be for you.. but for me the game heavily focuses on the social aspect while I expected it to also have a deeper economic or state-management level political aspect, which it lacks a lot. The 'light empire management layer' in the description is an understatement, I'm quite disappointed. While the setup is kind of interesting, the audio is fine, the visuals are cheap and the focus of this game quickly made me asking for a refund.
Great game, a hidden gem! The only space game I know that does not include any aliens at all !!!
dry, repetitive. has promise, but doesnt look like its still being developed
