About
Formerly known as Post Scriptum, Squad 44 is the most authentic WW2 first-person shooter, featuring 20 large-scale battlefields, upwards of 150 realistic WW2 weapons, and over 120 true-to-life vehicles. You must prioritize communication, coordination, and teamwork to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Experience real WW2 campaigns, such as the liberation of the Netherlands and the Battle of Normandy. The war stretched across farms, villages, and cities, and whether you’re jumping out of a plane, arriving by sea, or storming the battlefield in a tank, you’ll need to group up with your squad before taking on the enemy.
Fight as historic WW2 factions like the British 1st Airborne Division, the US 4th Infantry Division, and the French Army to take on the German Wehrmacht, the Waffen SS, and Fallschirmjägers. Other factions include the Australian Army, the Greek Royal Hellenic Army, the New Zealand Military Forces, the British Army, and the Polish Airborne Forces.
In Squad 44, teamwork is paramount to achieving victory. Enroll as a commander and order gun runs or artillery to support your team. Join the frontline as one of the many infantry roles. Run logistics and shape the battlefield with fortifications and emplacements. And keep everyone on the battlefield updated with our in-game voice chat. Talk directly with your entire squad or use the local proximity chat to talk to players nearby and help the flow of battle.
Be the scourge of the battlefield in one of the most feared monsters of WW2: the armored tank. Join a battalion with three other players and crew realistic steel beasts as the driver, gunner, or commander. Every vehicle in Squad 44 has been painstakingly created to represent the real tanks that roamed the battlefields of 1940s Europe. Each one features authentic functionality and armaments, meaning one thing: complete devastation to the enemy’s frontlines.
Experience the authentic reproduction of an incoming Stuka siren or artillery cannons firing from afar. The piercing sound of an incoming heavy round cutting through the air past you. The cracks of bullets and shrapnel. Squad 44 was designed with every little detail created with the utmost authenticity to the real-life weapons, vehicles, and battlefields used at the time. Don’t just play a game; experience the intense WW2 tactical military action of Squad 44.

best community of these kinds of games
Great team based shooter with a mostly non toxic community and a small but active player base. You are able to find full servers on weekdays in the US. No need to join a clan like other tactical shooters, just hope in join a full server and play. 10/10
By far my favourite WW2 game, easy to learn and hard to master - I love the teamwork especially. The commander role is lots of fun too. Personally, I was sadden by some of the changes made to try make the game compete with Hell Let Loose for example the manual compass being removed - as inpractical as it was lol. Although I appreciate these changes have improved gameplay and teamwork. I find this less arcadey than Hell Let Loose and my favourite thing is how large the maps are so you have so much creativity to plan attacks with a whole host of vehicles to choose from. I love this game but don't have as much time to play anymore sadly. The HUD doesn't feel as needed as it does in HHL for the game to still be playable. Can't wait to be back soon - would love to see the Stalingrad Mod become part of the main game at some point. I wish this had more players - there's often at least 2 severs with full players in Europe, but can be annoying waiting to get into a game if you're late to it.
great job this game hits hard my hears are ringing

What do wizards have that muggles don't in terms of capability in some kind of war scenario? Oh you have a flashy bang stick that can make people die? Yeah we have those too, difference being ours can do it 1000 times per minute. Imperiatus curse? Yeah it's called blackmail pal, CIA has been doing it for 70 years. Cruciatus curse? Lol see the above. Oh nice broomstick dude, Nimbus 2001 that's cool, top speed of 100 knots you say? What a treat. Allow me to introduce you to an F16 Fighting Falcon you whimsical dork. Not to mention the muggles' vastly superior technology in signals, geospatial, and just about any other type of intelligence apart from HUMINT. The Death Eaters would get Salem'd back to the stone age and it's not even close. I feel that a man of Dumbledore's acumen could have seen the strategic benefit in letting Voldemort FAFO, instead of sending some teenagers to expelliarm him in the hope that the cracked out Divination professor was actually right for once.
