Spiritual Warfare is a Zelda-like overhead action game where you play as a soldier of God, fighting the forces of darkness in various parts of a modern city to find the armor of God, each one guarded by increasingly difficult demon bosses. The game includes other 3 Popular Wisdom Tree games: Bible Adventures, Joshua, and Exodus!

I played this on the NES as a kid, and maybe it was my sheltered childhood that told me so, but at the time, I loved Spiritual Warfare. When I found out this had been ported to Steam, I was hopeful. There are so many problems with this, however, I'm not sure how to start. The save and speed adjustment systems are non-existent. I've tried multiple solutions with no result. Please remove this game until these issues have been fixed.
Way too old for my liking.
Thou shall not save!
Played Spiritual Warfare on the NES back in the day. Wisdom Tree gets a lot of flack for Super Noah's Ark 3D and others but this was their one good game. Recommended.
I got this game for Exodus, however having a real hard time figuring out the keybindings and cannot find anything showing what the keybindings are. Really want a way to know the keybindings so I can actually play the game a love and remember from the early days. I never beat the game and would love to try to do it again. Also able to stream or make videos of it but cannot do anything until I know the keybindings. Please make the details of game play available so that players who bought this game can enjoy it. Thanx
Basically budget bin Zelda, but with biblical context. Still fun, tho.
Bad boring game.
This was the first game I ever played back on DOS. Never been able to beat it until now. For a Zelda knock off it's ok.
Spiritual Warfare & Wisdom Tree Collection is a collection of ancient Bible games from around 1992. It's a whopping 31 years old at the time of this review. The game lacks support for any modern gaming display resolutions (or widescreen monitors), hasn't been modernised or updated to run smoothly on modern gaming PCs. Despite this lack of modernisation, it carries a pretty high price tag for such an ancient game. This seems to have been put on Steam as a nostalgia gouge. The four games you get here all run in DOSBOX. You get one 2D pixel platformer, one Legend of Zelda ripoff, and two Boulderdash ripoffs (the developers never got sued for that even though they are technically liable for copyright infringement... even if you're religious, stealing other people's game ideas is not okay, and I'm pretty sure there's something about not stealing things in Exodus). That aside, they're all really, really bad. As always with Bible games, this is not making religion better, it's just making gaming worse. The poor quality of this game package is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 8 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 50,000 games for gamers to choose from (over 9,000 completely free titles), the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. Spiritual Warfare & Wisdom Tree Collection is eyewateringly expensive for an abandonware nostalgia gouge, at $10 USD, and it's not worth it. The game is just too old, hasn't been modernised. And as the old saying goes, you can't go home again.
