I appreciate that this is a well made and great game, but my two left feet couldn't sort it out.
Great music, Great art style, great gameplay, great replay value. 10/10
This game combines two of my favourite things: great music and spooky skeletons jiving out to it. I've always been a fan of rhythm games and this one is by far the most unique. It definitely requires patience and the only way through is to try again, and again, and again.... and AGAIN. Learning attack patterns is integral to mastering the game and it can be quite frustrating before you've passed that point, but once you get the hang of it, it's insanely addictive. You'd think the music would get boring after a while and yet after so much playtime, I can honestly say it hasn't. The multitude of different characters and playstyles and really improves the replayability and adds some variety once you've grown tired with the current playstyle. Will reiterate once more: not recommended for those who are easily frustrated, and very much so recommended for those willing to stick it out for the rad music the cute little animations of dancing ghouls.
Clasicazo.
Old game but an amazing roguelike. Great ost, great gameplay, good music integration, boss fights are very unimpressive though Frequently on sale for 80%+ Zero reason not to buy it at 3$
Crypt of the NecroDancer is rough at first, not gonna lie. Rhythm based combat sounds fun on paper but the first hour or two you're just dying in a panic, missing beats, not understanding why you got hit Then something clicks. Once you stop thinking and start feeling the beat the whole game changes. You're moving with the music, not fighting it, and that fusion feeling when everything lines up is genuinely something else Tons of levels, tons of bosses, difficulty options for pretty much every taste so you can push yourself as much as you want. The concept alone is worth the price of entry I recommend this one all the time
