Human will live on Mars before i finish this game!
From the guys that made Runefall. Same grind, just added a 'fun' puzzle solving hurdle so that you have to do extra stuff to finish a level. Avoid.
This is a match-3 game for people who have a great deal of time to kill. Recently my life has become more hectic, so I can no longer be so engrossed. I like how the game mixes a searching mechanic with the match-3, but ultimately this is a game you need a ton of time to play.
A fun match 3 game with enough of a twist to make it interesting and no IAP to ruin the fun. So far it's quite enjoyable, it's match 3 on a multi-screen map. You kind of pull yourself around by making matches on a side of the screen. As you go you encounter the typical match 3 obstacles (ice blocks and so forth). It's interesting because if you get stuck somewhere you could move to another part of the map (there's also a teleport ability). You have to make specific matches to keep your lantern filled as well, and there are puzzle rooms (with generous hints if you get stuck). You can slowly upgrade the town. It's not going to set the gaming world on fire but it's nice when you have an itch for some match-3 and you don't want to deal with being bothered buying coins or keys or whatever with real money. Buy the game, play the game. Sad that this seems miraculous these days! Fun game!
I liked Runefall 1 & 2 but Silver Tale is by far my favorite Playcademy match 3 game. This one however leaves a lot to be desired. I would give it a thumbs up if there was 1. not a maximum on the number of hints you can earn 2. an option to skip the mine puzzles that give talismans I am stuck in level 13 with everything completed except only 2 of 4 talismans, 4 hints left and cave puzzles that are 6+ moves to complete. Would require too much grinding to keep lantern lit and earn hints so not worth the time or energy. Definitely not a relaxing match 3 for me.
This is not your typical match-3 game; there's more to it than that. You have to make matches in a certain order to fill your lantern to see, and making matches in certain areas moves the camera around, and this is how you explore as you 'mine'. Gems can be found and sold to get money, which you use to purchase upgrades for yourself and your town. This is totally worth the default price, though I did wait to buy it on sale.
Lots of good fun. Puzzles can be a bit frustrating, especially in the beginning, but otherwise relaxing and enjoyable.
A refreshing take on match 3. Fun little storyline as well, yet if you're not sure then wait for a sale.
It is tedious to get to the bottom of the mine shaft and explore all of the levels
A good puzzle with innovative match-3 mechanics, nice meta game and pretty visuals. It becomes boring around level 12-15 (10-15 hours) as no new mechanics are introduced. Additional match-all puzzles are pretty hardcore - devs should've made hint boosters more accessible (gather them faster) and not demand of a player to remember already hinted moves. (But you can find solutions on Youtube ;)
