SpelunKing: The Mine Match

Decent gem-matching game. It does get boring after a short while. But the features it does have, is made with great care.

Really cool match-three game with some very unique mechanics. You are responsible with rebuilding a small village by escavating gems from a mine. The game mechanics are very well aligned with this main concept: Instead of a static match-three board each board in Spelunking represents a cave you will have to navigate. By matching resources you "move" towards the general area of that particular match. Not only that but the number of moves available is limited by your lamp. The light can be extended by matching a specific sequence of resources. Really interesting strategies result from this dilemma between acquiring needed resources, moving towards a specific area or completing sequences needed to continue playing. A light story and good overall presentation make this a very fun experience. You should definitely go spelunking if you want an interesting match-three variant!

독특한 방식의 블럭맞추기 게임입니다. 총 25스테이지로 되어있으며, 한 스테이지당 클리어 시간이 길어 제 경우에는 길면 한 시간이 걸린 스테이지도 있습니다. 이 회사의 다른 제품들도 이런 방식의 게임들인데 해본바로는 이 게임이 가장 지루했던것 같아요. 재미가 없다는게 아니고 다른 제품과 비교해서 상대적으로 지루했다는 이야기 입니다. 컴퓨터가 내놓는 대로 5번을 연달아 맞춰야 하는 5 시퀀스 퍼즐이 있는데 다른 제품에서는 도전과제 달성 목적 이외에는 그다지 쓸모 없었으나 이번에는 잘 활용 한것 같습니다. 하지만 너무 좁은길을 연달아 만들어 매칭을 어렵게 함으로써 지루해 졌다는 느낌이 많이 오기도 했어요. 도전과제 달성은 전체적으로는 어렵지 않은데 각 젬을 50개씩 모아야 하는 shiny도전과제가 조금 까다롭습니다. 게임내에 토론에서 20스테이지를 반복해서 플레이 하면 수월하다하여 해봤는데 클리어가 가능했습니다. 전체적으로는 재밌었지만 중간에 지루한 요소가 많았다는 점에서 조금 아쉬움도 있어요.
