its good its like rocket league in vr need more people tho playing vs bot isnt that much fun the dev himself gave me a free key to review his game well here my review
As others already confirmed in other reviews, i will say the same It's really close with rocket league but in VR. Instead of hitting the ball, here you have to grab it with some kind of grapple hook thing You can jump with your bike and use boost there are also floating balls in the arena, when you aim for those it will make you gain a lot of speed in the direction you aimed to The game is just new, i cant wait to see how it evolve in the next months https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AO3XtcJQtw

Snatchers is a game similar to CuVRball and Tractorball. You play 5 min, 2vs2 matches driving on a bike as you try to score as many goals as possible with the help of a grappling hook that grabs the ball and shoots it forward. You can turn left and right, reverse, jump, boost and use your grappling hook to grab on to orbs in the air to pull yourself forward. I haven't been able to try the multiplayer yet. Like with most other VR games, you won't find a match by random matchmaking, so you currently need to plan ahead and organize a match with your friends. Pros Appealing graphics. Fast and polished gameplay. Much needed singleplayer mode with overall great A.I. Instant replays after every goal. Cons The A.I teammate sometimes stole the ball I had shot as it was going straight for the goal and ended up losing it to the other team. When you steal the ball from the opponent A.I you often lose it back instantly. This issue is appparently being worked on.
Working for Helixxvr i get to try some game out before the release and when this one landed in our inbox we were excited to try it. The controls are simple and the game play smooth and sleek. If you suffer from motion sickness sit down. The AI in the game is not a push over and they make you work to score your points. I really liked how simple but enjoyable the game was. Sure there were a few bugs but its EA and whats a game without bugs? the Dev responded quickly to our feedback and started working on the fixes. If you can find a couple of friends to play with even better you will be flying about having lots of fun. A solid game and if you are reading this thinking shall i buy? i say give it a try
It's similar to Rocket League, but in VR. It's fast paced gameplay in multiplayer or against bots, but I can't recommend it at the moment. The controls seem confusing and this game gave me motion sickness, which is unusual because I usually don't have a problem. The ball physics also need improvement and I agree with some other reviews that the grappling mechanism is jarring and can move you faster than the ball. The game doesn't require much roomscale movement, so you're in one place most of the time. I hope that these issues can be addressed with future updates though, since there's a good potential here.
An excellent stepping stone to a possible future of VR eSports. Snatchers is an excellent and addictive new sport game where two teams of two players compete on high speed motorcycles armed with grappling guns to race, boost, and jump your way across a stadium to score on your opponents net. Easily can be compared to the likes of Rocket League. This game can truly shine in its multiplayer mode with a large enough playerbase. If you are like me and prefer a single player experience then you're in luck because there is also an included single player mode where you face off against AI bots of varying difficulty. The bots can get predictable at times ut they are still a blast to play against if you can't find real people to play with. Hopefully there will be some tweaks to the AI in the future to make them a little smarter but it is an excellent start. Matches are exciting and fast paced. Snatchers is definitely a game where you will think you'll maybe play one match but then the next time you look at your clock an hour has just slipped right by because it sunk it's claws into you and engrossed you in it's fun and unique (as far as VR games go) gameplay that you'll soon find that you just can't get enough of. With a large player base this already good game will only improve. Future possible improvements to the game that I would suggest would be just adding more variety. More bike styles, more stadium environments, maybe a way to inject different music into the game. My only negative points are that the grappling gun seems to shoot a little too high for my personal preference. I'm not sure if there is a setting to adjust this in game (so if there is I apologize for this statement). The other point I would like to mention is that if you are sensitive to motion sickness in VR experiences than this game will affect you. It didn't affect me as much as some smooth movement(non-teleport) VR games but I did feel a slight twinge in my stomach after about an hour. Bottom line is that this is a really fun and different VR experience that is priced lower than a lot of games that are a lot less fun than this. I would definitely recommend this game to anyone with a VR headset.
This is Rocket League in VR, with bikes and a grappling gun. If you’re not excited yet, then let me tell you more. The game offers fast 2 on 2 game play with skill based shooting and quick reflexes being key. This is a seated VR experience with fast movement, with that said I never got sick and quickly adapted to the fast movement. For $10 this is an Awesome VR game well worth the money. I now have another must show VR game to friends and family. Game play Footage here if you'd like to see it in action. I came to test this game with the illusion that it would be somewhat similar to Rocket League. Oh my god, how could I be more wrong. This game is horrible. Completely unplayable with one hand in VR mode. I wish I could use a non motion controller in VR. VR accessibility score ----------------------------- One-handed = 0/10 Wheelchair = 10/10
Essentially the best sports VR game I've played to date. It has everything that makes a basic VR game fantastic. Nothing overly complex, with all the controls very easy to pickup, a fun objective, and a bit of competition along the way. Obviously in the early stages of the game, production must continue and I'm sure it will, but for the price - I would highly recommend picking it up ASAP! Will have a full review video up in the next week or two for a more in depth look at it.
