A.I.M. Racing

«Механоиды: Гонки на выживание» — дрифтуй или ржавей Жанровое и не своевременное ответвление от полноценных предыдущих частей. Вам предстоит стать пилотом механоидов — смертоносных глайдеров будущего, созданных для гонок на выживание. Сюжета, к счастью, почти нет, но вместо этого вам предложат сражаться с соперниками в гонке, прокладывая путь к победе через знакомые локации, включающие вулканы, подводные глубины и прочие знакомые антуражи. Нотки ностальгии по полноценным частям серии присутствуют, но не более. ❗️Физика. Глайдеры порой застревают в текстурах, а управление оставляет ощущение, будто вы рулите утюгом. ❗️Графика. Для 2009 года визуал слабоват, текстуры устарели, хотя патчи слегка спасают ситуацию. Но кому хочется этим заморачиваться? ❗️Баги, вылеты и читерские боты не дадут расслабиться. Игра словно вернулась из прошлого с добрыми намерениями, но не оправдала ожиданий. Это аркадные гонки третьего сорта: порой весёлые, но чаще — раздражающие. Задумка с мехами интересна, однако реализация подкачала. Подойдёт фанатам серии или тем, кто ностальгирует по эпохе "серых" игр 1С. Остальным лучше поискать что-то свежее. Смело можно назвать игру «тренажёром терпения»: пройдёте до конца — станете сильнее. Или просто испортите себе вечер, выбирайте сами. 😊

I REALLY like this one. Its more than a hover space craft race thing. Which of course it is. But the added weapon elements, and extras make it quite intense if you really want to go full on. Race, crash into, blow up and destroy etc opponents and aim to win as well. Great! The graphics are pretty good, should get good results even with a low end graphics card.

This game really has the feel of star wars pod racing. You can pick up power-ups that can affect the gameplay of the match. It can get a little frustrating in the begging to drive each vehicle. The graphics are alright and fun to look at. The opponents can be very stupid at times and run into the walls. The game is a good arcade racer with potential to be alot of fun. I would recommend this game to any racer that likes having power-ups to blow the competition away. Its a good game but can be improved.

The controller bindings are terrible. I was forced to steer, accelerate, and brake, all on the left joystick. Setting up different buttons did not help. This game would be playable if the controls were updated to work better with the common Xbox controllers. Graphics were alright, and I would probably leave this installed for a time killer game, but the controls ruined it for me. Looked like a decent Wipeout clone. :/

Забавные аркадные гонки с пушками. По геймплею всё просто, как понять устройство реактивного двигателя космического корабля: вот тебе трассы, выбирай тип космолёта и айда, главное не забывать подбирать на трассе оружие и всякие бонусы вроде усиления пушек, мины, защитные поля и ускорения с аптечками само собой. Игра в целом адаптирована под современное железо: в меню есть необходимое количество настроек графики (от разрешения, до сглаживания) и самое главное – при выборе 1920x1080 экран не будет растянут, как это бывает в старых играх. По музыке также вопросов нет, она задорная, но простая. Хотелось бы больше, но всегда можно врубить фоном Арию из Дальнобойщиков 2 и представить себя в шкуре космических бандитов из той игры (притормози, приятель). По графике особо говорить нет смысла, она была хороша в своё время, а сейчас смотрится так себе, но благодаря настройкам в меню и большим скоростям вы просто особо не успеваете разглядеть всякие мелкие недостатки. В общем за такую малую цену и качество исполнения вполне сойдёт иногда коротать свободное время. Разработчикам советую выпустить уже в Стиме первых Механоидов и найти издателя для новой части. 7 космических скоростей из 10’ти Земных.

Good god, I was hoping this would be a good, fun racing game, but god was I wrong. This feels like one of those games where you actually have to cheat, or just have the planets align perfectly so luck sides with you to give you at least sixth place. I'll try to explain myself, here. A.I.M. Racing is a mess all because of two aspects. The controls, and the ship stats. Each ship has individual stats to give a different play style to how you race, or at least I'm sure that was the original intention. What ACTUALLY happened is a completely different story. I've not even beaten the first quick race, let alone competition race, so while I can't vouch for the ships you can unlock, the first three you have access to are all terrible in different ways. The first three ships you gey are basically light, medium, and heavy to easily define them, but sadly it isn't really that simple. Remember how I said the ships have verying stats? Well, the way A.I.M. tries to balance the ships to varied playstyles can be summed up as follows. Make one thing good, one thing complete ♥♥♥♥, and the rest sub-par. *Light ship - fast, good defense, barely any fire power, and okay handling. *Medium ship - Slower, less defense, NO fire power, worse handling. *Heavy ship - Slow as heck, so-so defense, good fire power, might as well have no handling. What doen't help matters either is the fact that because of how the controls work, and these poor ship stats, when turning corners with any of these ships, with the lightest one only sometimes exempt from this, you have to slow down almost to a complete stop just to turn without hitting the wall, and spinning around like a shot down helicopter, while the computers can speed right through corners without care. you have to slow down to turn corners, but the computers don't, even if you're using the same ship. I even saw a computer using the heaviest ship speed past a corner without stopping, and was a lot faster than it was when I was using it, so it's safe to say this game doesn't play fair in the slightest. Pretty safe to assume I don't recommend this game, which is sad given this could have been fun given the tracks (Or ratehr, the one track I was able to race on) seems decently functional, even if the boulders you can run into are a bit annoying.

There are power ups and game modes but it's mostly bland and forgetable [h1] Good [/h1] -feels kind of fast sometimes -I think we all want more wipeout style games on steam -has multiplayer [h1] Bad [/h1] -rough round the edges -unbalanced -controls are odd and feel bad -feels mostly slow -tracks not well designed or interesting Not recomended unless you need tp play a poor wipeout knock off [h1] 2/5 [/h1]

一款有些年代的战斗竞速游戏 质量一般，基本就是追逐射击，跑圈竞速 射击精准基本就靠RP，并不需要手动瞄准，但在转弯时基本打不中，如果生命全部耗尽会被强制退出 另外地图路线并不明显，但是线路也并不是完全唯一的，可能会有一些小障碍阻隔的小岔路，需要不停观察头顶上的箭头指向 整体只能说和价格比较符合

woah this game is tough Its a great game well optimized (can run on the worst rotten potatoes) and has a real arcedy vibe. I played very similar games on machines and had fun. This was no different you travell at high speeds knocking on your opponents weird ass car and collect powerups ranging from afterburner time (nitro) to missiles. The one major con which can throw people off is the control scheme for keyboards. Its just not good for the mechanisms. You can change it but there are too many buttons to press in this ride that its difficult to keep track so i recommend using a joystick 8/10 for the lowly measly price they charge just buy it without hesitation.

[h1] Racing with a bit of shooting. Pretty shallow, only 6 levels that're very mediocre. Pick one of 3 vehicles each one with different stats like firepower, speed, handling and acceleration. Overall rather bad so skipping is your best bet. [/h1]
