kinda like if sonic and kirby had a baby but its cool because the kid is peak
Imagine classic Sonic combined with Kirby's copy abilities and bosses that feel like dark souls. That is spark the electric jester!
Буквально Sonic X Kirby с восхитительным саундтреком
nice sonic-like game and runs on weaker pcs like mine so I enjoyed it and especially fills the itch for a fast paced 2D platformer since sonic mania plus
Fun 2d platformer remenicient of Sonic the hedgehog on the genesis combine with elements of kirby.
Cool concept and neat music. But the controls are a little bit rough. And respawning at save points leaves you with partial HP for some reason, even in front of bosses.
Literally one of the best 2d platformers I've EVER played in my life.
Rough around the edges, but overall a pretty fun experience. Felt like a lot of the stages were not the most memorable in the world, both in terms of stage gimmicks and visually, but it was still a nice throwback to classic Sonic mixed with Kirby
FYI for anyone who has problems with (or those who reviewed about) the game crashing on pausing, it seems that it's related to software that can capture the screen (I.E. Discord, OBS, etc.). TURN THOSE OFF BEFORE YOU BOOT UP THE GAME. I don't know if it's safe to start them up after, but it's not unplayable. Another note for some people who said you can't turn off the double-tap to dash, you can. It is literally an option to toggle in the settings menu. It just happens to be on by default. Otherwise yeah IMO it's a pretty good game! Probably not on the quality level as something like Freedom Planet, but definitely worth the price. Plus it has a lot of charm between the cutscenes and dialogue. Some of the abilities could be a bit more in-depth, and in some levels it's difficult to find alternatives. Although in some ways I enjoy working around the jank that comes with it, but to each their own.
