Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Every market we collect.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Who needs Starfield, Star Wars Genesis, EVE, Star Citizen or EverSpace when this gem takes what people wanted the most in those games and make put it all in one for a potato price. I spent hours on this game. Open world, actual spacetravel, straight from planet into space to warpgates etc. Ultimate sandbox with quests too. Ground combat and space combat, factions, guilds, trading, mining. even taking over colonies. building your own empire, deplomacy etc etc, and kicked off by a SOLE developer. This needs credit. Sure it can be buggy, the story and characters weird, and the UI can be a slight learning curve but once you got it, you are hooked for hours and hours.

game not ready for release. not EA, not even beta. way too many crashes and bugs. "need more time in the oven" more like another couple of years at least, regardless of how many patches you see coming out in recent week since launch. oh well, at least it was relatively cheap.
Great game, and devs really do listen to feedback and fix bugs.
Been playing this for a few years, off and on. It has come a long way since the start. It's filled with jank, but it's my kind of jank. Starts simple and then expands into something impressive. I love the ships, wish for more quality of life with inventory filters and management but it'll come around at some point. Very impressive game for how it's been developed thus far. I'll keep coming back every 6 months or so.
This game's similarities to STARFIELD:

Story probably generated by AI
Loads of Loading Screens
Boring Planets
POIs all look the same
Shallow Characters
Meh Graphics

This game's differences to STARFIELD:

The developer actually TRIED to make a good game
Innovative ideas like EVA etc.
An actual economy
Fun
I just can't bring myself to not recommend this game. It's not good, but we need more indie developers like this. The abysmal AI voices make it almost unplayable for me though even if many aspects of this game are really fun.
It is for sure worth your buying! While the individual parts may not be up to AAA game standards, they come together in a synergistic way. The result is a game that will pull you into the fantasy of the space empire so hard you'll forget about its weaknesses as you enjoy its strengths. This game does many things better than the big budget games. The guild system gives you a variety of missions with different stakes, and total freedom to switch between them. The Faction system's missions (mail) are attached to some really meaningful stakes. The exploration probes minigame is a cool way to tackle exploration and, in some ways, it is more engaging than the AAA games equivalent, since it involves gameplay and skill, rather than just looking at a progress bar and go somewhere to cash in. The game nudges you along a storyline, but you can go at your own place or refuse to participate at all. I've just dabbled in the Conquest and Faction building games. So far, it is very interesting. The addition of your very own wingmen and ground combat squad helps a lot during all kinds of missions. You can also assign some of your NPC's to take on some faction missions for you, which gives you the freedom to do guild missions and other stuff. I like X, Elite Dangerous, Star citizen, and I have pretty much every space game of note be it 2D or 3D. While some of them do some aspects very well, Spacebourne is the only one where you find all that stuff together.
Cons: There are still a lot of bugs and glitches. The devs seem to be crushing them as fast as they can, but you will run into some. Now onto the PROS: I haven't played a game like this in a loooooong time. It doesn't feel like a clone of another game, and the elements inside it are well thought out. It's leagues above what I expected from a small studio/solo project(unsure how much was solo). Hell, it's league above what I would expect from a B studio, or even A-AAA. The main pro for me is that it doesn't feel "safe", I have no idea what can happen, or what it's like jumping into it. I played Spacebourne 1, and this isn't a continuation of that, this is like 10 generations ahead. Spacebourne 1 feels like it came out on the PS2 in comparison. People joked that this game was better than Starfield, but I see a lot of things in it Starfield didn't attempt: new ways to do almost everything. Mining for the first time? Visit the mining guild. Get out your ship and hope you land the right side up on a mining node, take out your mining laser, set the mining laser's power to efficiency ratio and get to blasting. Want to explore new places? Go to a system, look up how to use probes, find a signal, boost the signal, merge the signals, unlock a location... it can be anything. I found a research station the first time, and a procedural "pirate dungeon" the second time. It's so bizarre, it's so new, it's so OUT THERE. You want safety of predictability and just another X4? This isn't it. This is an ARPG mixed with an X4, mixed with a arcade space shooter. For me, this is the Clair Obscur of space games. Except it's an actual indie studio. The completely unexpected, smacked over the head and spit out gold version of a space shooter I didn't know I needed. I even saw gameplay videos, and they don't tell you how fresh this feels to everything else. I'm just so darned impressed!
