About
Outerverse is a quest-driven, crafting automation adventure game. Build automated machines and weapons, travel across the universe, beat massive titans, explore unique landmarks and advance your technology while experiencing cosmic events. Includes a manual scenario for crafting instead of machines for those not a fan of logic/automation!

Defeat 6 massive Titans, each one unique and with a special mechanic to defeat. Shoot fireballs at the Tree Titan, launch rockets into the Rock Titan, build lasers to obliterate the Negative Titan, all that and more!

Automate unique machines and farms using logic, transportation, and spawning systems inspired by Redstone & Minecraft Automation. Design your own custom machines, or use pre-made schematics for simplicity! Alternatively, choose the manual crafting scenario for the same experience but with crafting instead of machines - without machines, farms, logic or wires.

Follow a questline that will fully guide your adventure. Progress to unlock better equipment and new space travel technology. From starting out and learning the basics, to defeating the most massive titans, to exploring the mysteries of space in unique locations, the questline will guide you through the whole way.

During the questline you will experience exciting cosmic events in unforgettable locations while you explore the universe made out of beautiful procedural space fields such as galaxy clusters, galaxies, neutron stars with accretion disks, gas planets, quasi stars, and more!

DO NOT BUY! After playing now for about 40 hours i would not advise anyone to buy this game this game should not have left beta as it is riddled with bugs issues and performance issues. After going to the Dev and having conversation and conversation with him over issues and bugs my perception is that this game was released to get back money for the time invested and very little will ever change. He has moved on to other projects and the answers i was getting for bugs is just don't do what causes them. DO NOT BUY!
This is a really unpolished and amateurish experience, and I can't recommend it in its current state. Some of the ideas involving automation are neat, but most of the first several hours involves very little actual automation. This would be alright if the rest of the game was anything to write home about, but it is not. Mediocre Minecraft-clone voxel-smashing, subpar combat against a couple of poorly-designed enemies, and a setpiece boss fight where a giant tree creature stands in place and stares dumbly at you as you slowly whittle its health pool down. This is when it's working properly, which is not always the case as I've run into several minor but annoying bugs and overall terrible performance as well. I'm curious to see where the game is going with its automation systems, but I'm not sure I can stomach the subpar-Minecraft-ness of the rest of the gameplay long enough for things to get interesting to me.
This dev really dislikes his customers..... check out the way he replies to some people on his other games. Time for a job change. Would be great if they actually developed a game, put it in early access, and followed up with updates to make their games better. But check out the trash they keep cranking out... I was excited about this game and at first saw a lot of feedback and ideas being taken into consideration by the dev. But then, like the others, 1.0 is released and on to the next beep boop.
This is just sad. The developer seems to be trying to create rip off games with some space inspiration in outerverse. Yes, they added their own concepts but it feels more like it's a Minecraft modpack. The game they are currently working on just looks like a janky modded robot version of ark survival. At least make it less obvious as far as ark goes. You've got a good concept going, just keep adding your own creativity to this game. And sorry to bring your reviews down again. Thanks dev(s) for continuing the work on this game and looking at reviews, even though this game isn't doing so good anymore. Just want to put this sentence in a place where it's easily readable and not something you can easily miss. This game is worth a try. You can always refund after if you don't like it but please give it a shot.
I made it as far as the 8th step in the tutorial (about 2.5 hrs played) before giving up. Perhaps it gets better, but it was like pulling teeth to get that far, so I gave up. On my first cave dive I was killed by lava three times in a row (lava isn't red in this game and it kills you from a distance. I thought I was being killed by the mobs I was fighting. Nope, standing too close to a liquid). You'll need 20/20 vision to play this game. Text is small and the inventory icons for collected blocks practically identical. Also, no ability to remap the keyboard, so I hope you like the default layout (are aren't, for example, left handed) Combat is just weird. Just wave your sword the enemy while they are clearly 10 swords lengths away from you and it still hits. And that's the only safe way to engage them. Except when they get stuck behind a corner. Which they do quite often and if you don't see any enemies for a while, you know they are just spawning and getting stuck (quite funny when you find then, and just hit around the corner though). Machine blocks can't be rotated after placement, and initial placement seems to be based on what direction you are facing with no preview, it's a matter of trial and error. I shouldn't have to build a staircase in order to get a block to face the right direction. Finally, the game needs a text pass. Some of the instructions in the tutorial are a mixture of the obtuse and the flat out wrong. Some examples: First Tutorial: "Hold left click on Trees to get logs. Press E for the inventory and click the Oak logs to craft some" You can click on the Oak Logs in your inventory til the cows come home. What it actually wants you to do is click below your inventory on a diamond-shaped button with the hover-hint 'Oak Planks', Eighth Tutorial: "Translocator: ... If behind there is a Tublock, it will try to place any block from the Tublock in front."
The concept looks good. I was very interested but right from the start it felt super janky and unfinished. Looks and plays like another EA game pushed out to "1.0" too early.
The game left early access, but it still feels quite clunky. Animations for mining are really low effort(just shows the block shrinking), lots of graphical bugs, gameplay tutorial is a bit confusing. Overall I wasn't able to enjoy it enough to get to the automation part. In my view the game has potential, but it needs more work. Unfortunately, it seems like the dev is focused on their upcoming title. So I don't recommend at this time.
Full of displaying bugs, lagging as hell, real UX problems (ex: can't place blocks over/nextto activable ones since it's the same key for the 2 actions placing & activating), etc... Sadly, I can't get a refund
Unfortunately can't tell anything about this game except, it looks good and might be interesting, but is very not optimized and pretty heavy on hardware resources. Can't remember when last time a game lagged or showed so much slowness. It is unplayable for me.
I had very high hopes for this game when it was announced in Steam. Minecraft in space, cubic world, space travel, etc. Unfortunately it is very resource hungry and I can barely play it on all-Low and optimised for performance. My hardware is not potato, it's the Unreal engine eating all of it and demanding more. Tool tips and knowledge base both need some improvements - it's not clear which goes where. For some reason I spawned inside water in my first forest planet. The auto-cave-finder machine (your first) dug almost vertically and I couldn't descend towards where the ray was pointing. Had a lot of potential, but it seems the indie developer gave up on it after all the negative comments. Sorry mate. You shouldn't give up on your projects because of the nay-sayers. We are, unfortunately, everywhere. A bit of optimisation might go a long way.
