ABSOLUTELY ADDICTIVE! Funny as hell, easy to learn, and great for when you want a 4x game but not all the micromanaging.
Finally beat this game after 28.1 hours of playtime and the difficulty is extremely hard but fun if you like very hard strategy games that actually take you to use every inch of your brain power. 10/10 Was pure Agony beating the game.
Had the choice between pain booth and painfully reviewing. Would choose game again next time.

How do you reset back to start over once you learn how to play?

A game with great potential but ruined by punishments being to harsh. The game consists of the player gradually taking control of the galaxy one sub-sector at a time, while the senate sends reinforcements to those territories. If the senate sends 4 reinforcements to one sector you lose the game and have to restart. But this isn't really that bad. The bad part is that you can win several missions being undefeated as you go but then you either mess up or get screwed by bad galaxy start point and lose a single mission. Not a big deal right? No. You've probably lost the whole run, even if the senate reinforces that come after you losing the mission aren't enough to cause you to lose the run... YET. Once you lose, which is usually later in the game, the senate will start to pick up reinforcements which is extremely punishing, but usually this isn't enough to make you lose outright but is enough to make you lose regardless of if you win future missions and it ends up wasting your time. I don't know why the devs designed it like this, its like they put all this work into making a fun game but thought it'd be funny to mess up player's enjoyment mid-run. Again, I like this game and it would be great if these stupid harsh punishments weren't in place. Like I just want to have cool space fights D;
Sometimes you get unlucky and not one, but two space monsters spawn next to your home system and there’s not much you can do about it with your little starting fleet. You can rage quit and call the game unfair or you can suck it up, accept defeat and try to win the next mission. The people saying you can’t win a campaign with a wounded commander are just poor space tyrants lacking dedication and will to learn. There is no space tyranny without great determination.
