About
Space Hack is an isometric action RPG that combines classic hack-and-slash combat with a dark science-fiction setting. When a mysterious gravitational anomaly consumes the colony ship Maximus, alien invaders swarm the vessel and slaughter its inhabitants. As one of the last surviving soldiers, you must fight your way through the ship and rescue as many colonists as possible before it’s too late.
Battle through 45 hand-crafted levels filled with enemies, upgrades, and loot. Combat is real-time and action-focused, designed for players who enjoy constant movement, ability use, and enemy encounters rather than slow tactical play.
Progression is deep and long-form, with a full playthrough easily exceeding 50 hours for players who explore thoroughly and complete optional objectives.
Space Hack focuses on gameplay first: continuous combat, character progression, and survival against overwhelming odds. The ship’s environments range from industrial corridors to alien-infested zones, creating a consistent sense of pressure and isolation as you push toward the escape pods.

Dlaczego ta gra nie chce mi się otworzyć na laptopie a wcześniej się otwierała.
Space Hack will always be my childhood game. Despite its flaws, I think the gameplay is still enjoyable and it's one of those games I keep coming back every few years to because of the nostalgia and its atmosphere. I originally started my playthrough on Normal difficulty, but around the middle of the game, once I had a better understanding of the mechanics, I switched to Hard (the highest difficulty) and finished the game that way. I played a Knowledge focused build, which turned out to be very effective. I imagine a melee-focused build would be significantly more challenging since you cant really dodge like that, you have to tank the hits and using skill cards will be harder because the better cards requier knowledge skills. One thing I really wish this game had is some kind of storage system outside of your personal inventory. It's a shame there's nowhere to keep extra weapons, armor, biochips, and other equipment. Because of this, you're discouraged from experimenting with different character builds. Throughout an entire playthrough, you're basically forced to commit to a single build since there's simply not enough inventory space to keep alternative gear. If the Main Base had something like a storage locker where you could deposit equipment and swap builds whenever you wanted. That would have added so much replayability and freedom without changing the core gameplay. Or if you could at least just reset your skill points for a significant amount of cells (in game currency). Of course there are other problems with this game, for example: You can't change the keybinds in game. And I could write about many more problems but I won't write about every flaw of the game, this game is very old and never reached an actual audience. After the final boss fight, the game sends you straight back to the main menu and deletes your save file. I know there's supposed to be an outro cutscene after entering the teleporter following the final boss. Unfortunately, it won’t play in the Steam version. There is apparently a community fix for it, but I didn't bother with it and just watched the ending on YouTube instead. I would say that it's a shame that the game deletes your save after you finish it, but honestly... I don't mind that as much. By that point, there's really nothing left to do anyway. At most, you'd just be running around empty levels with your fully geared character. The game is quite long and can get very hard if you don't use the tricks it gives you. You can pause the game anytime with the Space bar, and if you're stuck, you can basically plan every move step by step while paused. Tip: Always make a quick save before using the Teleport, even if you use the Base Teleport skill card. That's the only situation where I experienced crashes during my playthrough. Everywhere else the game was perfectly stable, but the teleport occasionally caused a crash, so it's better to be safe. To make your playthrough easier (also kind of an exploit if you ask me):
Don't underestimate the skill cards. Some of them are absolute game changers, especially Freezer, Energy Shield, and the time-slowing card. You will have to spend some points on the Knowledge stat for these items. With the combination of these skills, even the toughest enemies become easy to kill. Just Freeze them, use time slowing, have your energy shield on and make sure you dont run out of energy. ( Throughout my playthrough I only encountered 2 enemies that could not be frozen, one is the main boss at the end, the other one is a boss too, late in the game. )
Overall, I wouldn’t say I don’t recommend this game. If you somehow find it buried deep in the internet and it speaks to you even a little bit, I’d say give it a chance, you might end up enjoying it more than you expect. Despite these issues, I still enjoyed my time with the game. Most of my criticism comes from wishing this hidden gem had reached its full potential.
类暗黑破坏神的老游戏,打了一周目大概37个小时,虽然游戏各种不足打得不爽,但是打折后4.4元要什么自行车,喜欢玩暗黑类的可以玩。 先总结一下个人认为的缺点和不爽的点: 1、游戏优化不咋样,人物在地图边缘同时镜头面对地图边缘墙壁帧数可以到60,主地图一般情况都是10多帧; 2、数值设置不是很合理,主要是装备要求的属性数值,对于一个无法刷等级且升级慢每次升级只有5点可以分配的点数来说后期不少武器装备需求相当高了; 3、背包系统无扩展,从开头到结尾一直就10*5的背包格子,且捡到的物品无法重叠,再加上后期爆的装备有很多占用2*4的格子且大部分也占用2*6格子,导致后期地图探索过程中走没几步就回家清一次背包,探图时不爽的一个点; 4、传送时恶性bug可能导致游戏闪退,因为游戏本身的自动存档只会在传送后生成,所以传送前最好存档避免前面都白打了,传送包括使用基地回城卡、使用地图上的传送器、进入出入地图的传送门; 5、怪物打你是100%命中,你打怪物还有miss几率,并且到了后期遇到连发的远程大怪简直是折磨,用近战打伤害和抽奖一样且概率还不高,而怪物命中自机还有很大的受击反馈导致挥刀前摇会被打断,所以后期还老老实实去一个个勾过来打而不是冲到人堆里手都还不了; 6、武器系统枪械类有点鸡肋,伤害一般且因为能量武器分为三种属性,远程能量怪不同地图也会有不同属性,所以至少得准备两把轮换使用,而且为了使用枪械武器加点智力可能导致后期盔甲装备所需的力量不足; 7、人物移动全靠鼠标,有时候打怪就像甩枪兵,特别是前期不太敢站撸,玩久了还是很累的; 然后是优点和想要爽玩的建议: 1、有技能卡可以购买,其中的医疗卡和基地传送卡建议常备,医疗卡可以帮助后期不带血药节约本就不多的背包格子;基地传送卡可以在背包满了后马上回城,免得一路跑回传送器是节约自己游戏时间的好手,还可以咋打怪途中装备耐久不足或血药不足时回城补充;打BOSS外的大怪可以把冰冻卡和护盾带上,打大怪后修复装备的钱可比给技能卡充能贵多了;技能系统算是这游戏不多的良心之一,用得好可以提高游玩舒适性; 2、砍怪特别是砍虫卵很爽,建议走路时把ALT键按住免得漏东西和漏怪; 3、游戏地图上所有东西都是保存的,不会刷新地图,所以可以在拿到属性不错的装备却又装备不了时先丢在基地里面,不占背包也可以随时取用; 4、任务系统简单粗暴,就是一个图一个图推,到了新图后回基地看看有没新对话就行,没搞那种要回某张图看看这种耽误推图进度的任务,完成任务后也是随时回基地后对话即可拿到奖励; 5、怪物种类丰富,三种大类,且三种大类里各种小怪也很丰富,不会砍怪到无聊;
