Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 31 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

- Boring timber-looter-crafting game, -> thumb-up only for good post-Apocalypse atmosphere - but need to make updates and changes P.S. very awful idea -> turn camera on-click middle mouse, why not make simple as is -> on mouse-move -> camera moves >_< P.S.S. add loot, cuz game empty and boring now

I was really surprised when when I first played this game Soviet Survival, I thought for such an early game it was going to be janky, and unplayable, the price is so cheap, I thought It cannot be much good, after all...you get what you pay for right? But, how wrong I was, from the very off this game looked nice graphically, clarity on the graphics, looked nice and clean, it ran nicely too, no stuttering on frames, it took a short while to get the hang of it, and it felt bare on resources, but once you get going and searching, you soon find the loot your looking for. And also I was pleasantly surprised to see the SOLO Developer, is consistently putting out the updates, and listens to the players, which is nice to know. A solo Developer, has enough on his plate while living in wore torn Ukraine, and still works hard on his game. Certainly a game I would recommend, but be patient, this is a solo Developer, and these things take time, but the updates are flowing. erm there is no skin color option, id like there to be a black ebony women
Механики схожи с Project Zomdoid, HumanitZ в остальном игра подана в постСНГшной обёртке. Учитывая что разработкой занимается один человек - весьма неплохо.
Soviet Survival by Hunt Studio is a harsh, system-driven survival sandbox that places players in a bleak post-apocalyptic landscape shaped by scarcity, environmental danger, and constant uncertainty. Rather than guiding players through a structured narrative, it drops them into an unforgiving world and asks them to endure through careful planning, adaptation, and sometimes sheer luck. From the beginning, the game makes it clear that survival is not guaranteed, and every decision carries weight, whether it involves venturing into dangerous territory or conserving limited resources. The core experience revolves around managing multiple survival systems simultaneously. Players must monitor hunger, thirst, exposure to radiation, and general health, all while navigating an open environment filled with threats. These mechanics are tightly interconnected, creating a constant balancing act where neglecting one aspect can quickly lead to failure. The world itself feels hostile even in moments of quiet, as environmental hazards alone can be enough to end a run if not handled properly. This layered approach reinforces the game’s emphasis on realism, where survival depends as much on preparation as it does on reaction. Exploration plays a major role in progression, encouraging players to search abandoned structures, military zones, and ruined settlements for supplies. Each location presents its own risks and rewards, often forcing players to decide whether the potential gain is worth the danger involved. The act of scavenging becomes a central loop, with players gradually building up their inventory while trying to avoid unnecessary risks. Crafting systems expand on this by allowing resources to be turned into tools, weapons, and shelter components, giving players a way to establish some degree of control over their situation. Combat exists as a secondary but important element. Encounters with hostile entities, whether they are other survivors or mutated threats, can be deadly if approached carelessly. The game does not encourage direct confrontation unless necessary, as resources such as ammunition and medical supplies are limited. This creates a dynamic where avoidance and stealth can often be more effective than aggression. When combat does occur, it tends to be tense and decisive, reinforcing the idea that every encounter carries consequences. One of the more engaging aspects of the game is its cooperative potential. Playing with others introduces a social dynamic that can significantly alter how situations unfold. Cooperation allows for shared responsibilities and increased efficiency, but it also introduces unpredictability, as trust is never entirely certain in a survival setting. These interactions can lead to emergent scenarios that feel unique to each session, adding a layer of replayability that goes beyond the game’s core systems. Progression is tied to both character development and equipment acquisition. Players gradually improve their capabilities through experience and better gear, creating a sense of growth over time. However, this progression is not always smooth, as it often requires repeated exploration of dangerous areas. The reliance on gathering and upgrading can lead to moments where advancement feels slow, particularly when resources are scarce or difficult to obtain. Visually, the game adopts a grounded and subdued style that reflects its setting. The isometric perspective provides a clear view of the environment, which is essential given the number of factors players must monitor at once. While the visuals are not highly detailed, they effectively convey the desolate atmosphere of a world in decline. The environments feel consistent, with abandoned infrastructure and decaying landscapes reinforcing the sense of isolation. Sound design contributes to this atmosphere by emphasizing subtlety over intensity. Ambient noises and environmental cues play a significant role in maintaining tension, often alerting players to nearby threats or changes in their surroundings. The audio is understated but effective, supporting the overall tone without becoming intrusive. As a developing title, the game shows both promise and areas that need refinement. The core systems are strong and create a compelling survival experience, but the current content can feel limited over extended play. Repetition in resource gathering and progression may become noticeable, and certain mechanics could benefit from further depth or polish. Technical inconsistencies may also appear, which can occasionally disrupt immersion. Despite these limitations, Soviet Survival succeeds in delivering a challenging and immersive experience that captures the essence of survival in a hostile world. It rewards patience, planning, and adaptability, offering a gameplay loop that feels both demanding and rewarding. While it may not yet feel fully complete, it provides a solid foundation that has the potential to grow into something more expansive. In the end, it stands as a strong example of a survival sandbox that prioritizes realism and player-driven experiences. It may not appeal to those looking for a guided or forgiving game, but for players who enjoy methodical survival mechanics and the unpredictability of open-ended systems, it offers a compelling and often intense experience. Bought it for coop, and coop doesn't seem to work. No sessions to join, even after both of us tried creating one.
