About

- Your Reign, Your Rules - Every choice you make defines your legacy and the fate of your Kingdom...
- Recruit eccentric Knights - Manage a court of unpredictable heroes with big egos and even bigger problems.
- Manage Your Round Table - Send Knights on quests where success or disaster hinges on your judgment.
- Bend Time and Tempt Fate - Rewind decisions, uncover secrets, and pursue forbidden romances.
- Expand Your Tower - Build new annexes, acquire upgrades, and outwit rival rulers.

Ah, finally - a suitable Sovereign for the job. Yes, you, right there, come sit on this comfy throne. Ah you like the feel of that, don’t you? Congratulations, you’re hired! My name is Arlin and I’m your advisor. Welcome to your first day, and please, allow me to provide thee with a day in the life of a Sovereign and you can then decide how will you rule, my liege...
- In the morning you must tend to your subjects and listen to the problems that plague the Kingdom. From gardening to exorcisms - there’s never a boring day on the throne.
- Each decision you make will shape your kingdom and relationships with individuals, collectives and other rulers. Every interaction will play a part in defining your legacy.
- Balance your affinity with the Merchants, Mystics, Scholars, Nobles and People, as well as the Treasury, or spend it all and backstab everyone. Either way works, my grace.
- Recruit eccentric Knights with strong personalities and questionable morals to serve at your Round Table. Unfortunately for you, these are the jesters you’re relying on to keep your Kingdom running smoothly.
- With great egos, comes great drama! These Knights aren’t going to be a walk in the Tower’s Garden, sire. There’s always advice to be taken, grievances to be shared and romance to be explored.
- You must keep your Knights satisfied otherwise they may just leave your court for good. Maybe that’s sometimes for the best though...
- Manage your Knights from the Round Table. Here you can view all the requests from your subjects that you obliged to earlier in the day. Assign the most equipped Knight for the job to reduce chances of failure.
- Your Knights possess stats: Strength, Agility, Charisma, Magic and Wit. Each Quest requires a different skill set. Need a Charismatic approach? Maybe we shouldn’t send Ursula, your grace.
- After they return from their Quests, you’ll be debriefed with the results of their venture. Did their efforts result in Critical Failure or Critical Success? Or did they experience a completely Unexpected Outcome?
- In the Crypts of the Tower dwells a Demon who can turn back time. So, if it all goes wrong, you can go back with all the knowledge you’ve learned, make alternate decisions and change fate.
- Of course, you have me, your main advisor at your service, but there are others. For example, The Intendant has a nosy habit of collecting secrets about your Knights. She’ll provide the juicy gossip as you require it it!
- If you like romancing stone statues, then you’ve come to the right place. No, really, go speak to the Lady of the Tower and find out.
- Prove your worthiness against opposers by joining hands with neighbouring counties and forging great alliances.
- Expand your Tower by adding new Annexes which in turn will allow for more positions to open amongst your court.
- From Carina’s Forge to the Witch’s Alchemy Room, each of these new Annexes gives you the ability to craft new items to assist your Knights on their Quests.

Reviews
Sovereign Tower is by far the best game to come out this year so far. In a nutshell, it's Dispatch, but medieval, and with many, many more characters. The story is fantastic, and the characters are all really great. The gameplay is so addicting, and the choices actually feel meaningful. Personally, I enjoyed this a lot more than dispatch, which is saying something. Please, if you enjoy these types of games, or liked Dispatch, I highly recommend giving this game a try.
A fantastic game, very well done.
However, please be aware that this is a STAT RAISER/MANAGEMENT SIM at its core.

If you do not enjoy (mildly repetitive) gameplay focused around optimization, you will not like this game.
With that out of the way, I must say that I am thoroughly pleased with this game. I found myself laughing through the entire story, yet the comedy also managed to balance well with the more serious moments. The characters are all so fun and interesting, even the minor characters. There's also so many unique outcomes, including characters (and
character forms
) that are only unlocked by taking specific paths, and I am confident I will be replaying this game over and over. The replay value is incredibly high so far. I'm not confident the game will ever see any expansions, but if any DLC were to be released, I'd happily buy them. Highly highly recommend

FIRE I LOVE THE ART AND THE STORY IS SO GOOD ROMANCE EVERYONE
Considering I've spent 42 hours on this game within a week, I am absolutely hooked. As I saw someone else say in their review, I just cannot put the game down. Sovereign tower hands you entire fleshed-out branches diverging from choices that in most games would be false or superficial. There are whole characters and questlines that it'll take you multiple playthroughs and different playstyles to discover, and these harder-to-disover stories are not handled with any less care than the more common ones. Evil options really let you be a heinous bastard, and they make it *hurt* without even resorting to mechanical punishments. My only real complaint is that if you want to explore all the narrative options, you have to do the gameplay loop so many times that it starts getting seriously repetitive. I can only skim the menu looking for gear with the right stats so many hundreds of times before it becomes a chore! I am hoping for QOL improvements in future updates. One last thing I want to shout out is the game's use of the Ink narrative scripting language. It was absolutely the correct choice for this kind of narrative, and I hope more devs become aware of it through Sovereign Tower's success.
Frankly, in its current state Sovereign Tower is quite a buggy mess, especially towards the late-game and with certain storylines. But that's no reason to ignore a game that still does excellent in a Dispatch-like gameplay and a fantastic art direction. I especially admire the incredibly designed and diverse character designs.
TLDR: 8/10 Could use bears, and Goberto is the goat, but the goth one is my Favorite. Probably my favorite story game I've played this year. It has a beautiful art style, and it kind of just scratches an itch I didn't know I had. Although a little repetitive. It's honestly a really well put together game. If you like games like Dispatch or Disco Elysium(but not as mental) or Fire Emblem to an extent you'll probably like this game, or at least aspects. Although it seems linear, having played through it multiple times I assure that it is not. Each playthrough actually left me surprised and through game mechanics encourages you to try, which I have to give props too. That being said I do think that some of the mechanics after multiple playthroughs get boring. Some things that the game could do to improve. it would benefit from some voice acting. Is a big one. But I understand why they don't have voice acting. As their are so many choices. But for some of those more grandiose scenes. It would be nice. I would love more space for knights as that were. I do think that the game kind of forces you to interact with a mechanic in a way that is intrusive and feels kind of weak. I'd also just like more interactions with the knights. While I understand why there isn't. They are the main appeal to this game. And would just like to see more. Like maybe reactions or something. I would love to see more of Goberto and Ursula, and all of them in general. But maybe I just haven't discovered them or seen them yet. Or I'd like to see more artwork during these grand scenes of these characters, and be more like a visual novel instead of them just starring at me.. I also think the game could use bears but I think that about all games. I do love this game though. I think it is worth the price. But the developers seem generous with discounts so if you're on the fence, could wait. Or there is a demo. Honestly yeah. 8/10. I just kind of want more artwork and maybe voice acting, or more scenes.
