About
Soulmask is a massive survival crafting game set in multidimensional ancient civilization open worlds. Carve your path through two unique realms—[Cloud Mist Forest] or [Shifting Sands]. The choice is yours.
You are a survivor whose soul is tied to a mysterious mask. To survive this world, you must recruit the strongest barbarians, using the masks to possess and lead them toward a new era of civilization.
In the world of Soulmask, no two souls are alike. With over 871 unique Talents, Masteries, and Likes, your tribesmen offer infinite possibilities.
From bloodthirsty warriors and lethal hunters to legendary craftsmen and master harvesters—recruit them all. Transfer your consciousness through the mask to possess any tribesman, transforming them into your ultimate avatar.
The 1.0 update allows your barbarians to share their wisdom. Train your tribesmen and pass down skills to forge the ultimate, one-of-a-kind warrior.
Explore two ancient worlds spanning great distances, each with unique climates and ecosystems
Rainforests, deserts, snow-capped mountains, plateaus, and islands that you must adapt to... or perish. Each environment demands different strategies for survival.
Hunt for treasure in ancient ruins, battle mechanical enemies in labyrinths, or take on entire barbarian cities alone. This world is yours to challenge and explore.
Retrace the ascent of civilization: from humble thatch huts to impenetrable blackstone forts. Watch as your small settlement evolves into a majestic city.
From the first seeds of agriculture to the roar of machinery—experience the true evolution of civilization in Soulmask through farming, beekeeping, weaving, leatherworking, smelting, and more.
You do not walk this path alone. With a sophisticated command system, your tribesmen can automate every task. From gathering raw materials to managing logistics and assembly lines, you can design and transform your home into a fully automated industrial powerhouse.
In this world, the Mask is a symbol of the gods. Each Mask grants a unique combat style, while the Mimicry System lets you embody a deity to turn the tide of battle.
With 9 weapon classes, 88 weapon skills, and the infinite traits of your tribesmen, each battle is a thrilling test of skill to be experienced as you fight for survival.
Freedom is at the heart of Soulmask. Play solo at your own pace, team up with friends in co-op, run your own private server with custom rules, or step onto official servers where the stakes are real.
PvE if you want your civilization to grow undisturbed, PvP if you want to test it against rival chieftains. However you choose to play, over 200 customizable settings let you shape the rules, the rhythm, and the world itself.
In v1.0, we introduce three distinct playstyles: Tribe Mode for the builders and leaders; Survival Mode for the purists; and Warrior Mode for those who seek the thrill of brutal combat. Choose your style.
Supports Steam Workshop and everyone can now unleash their creativity with our powerful Soulmask Modkits to craft a Soulmask experience unlike any other.

Soulmask is currently best experienced with keyboard and mouse. We're actively working toward full controller and Steam Deck support, with a target of completing this in 2026. If you primarily play on a gamepad, we'd encourage you to wishlist the game and check back once that update lands.

i think this is a sleeper, just waiting for people to find it. Finding and figuring all of it out is so much fun. Its not the same game as it was before 1.0. More fun with friends but if you use the advanced siders tons of fun solo. Do not sleep on training and maxing out your tribe members and then deep scan is a must. Having many 120s+ on my main char is so nice. 100s of hr.s of fun waiting for you.
I picked this game up before the DLC, and it was fun, but felt a bit grindy. Playing again with the Desert DLC, building ships, and exploring a better map made the game way better.
It's like if Valheim, New World, Enshrouded, and Stargate SG-1 all got into an orgy. And this popped out afterwards. It runs pretty smoothly on my rig, beautiful world to explore. There is soooo much to do! The only downside to it is that there is SOOOO MUCH, that starting off can be kind of daunting. It doesn't spoon feed you snippits like most games of this size. It's more like "welcome to the gauntlet" and tosses you in. I'm 77 hours in and still don't know what some of the building i have do. :D. There's whole sections of the tribal work system i haven't quite got down im pretty sure. Everything has been pretty intuitive. There's just sooo much. The combat is amazing and very rewarding. I found out last night that long bows can fire regular arrows AND large arrows. But there's not prompt as to why you can't load large arrows onto a smaller bow. I didn't see the appeal in a long bow until i 1 shotted a mob last night. Yep. It's good. I haven't even touched on the DLC yet. I'm still learning the core. Thank you for attending my TEDTALK. If it seems kind of long, thats because the game has a LOT going on. It might be my favorite game of all time now. I didn't think FF7 could even be nudged to the side. It's not for certain yet. We'll see how Mid-Late game goes.
Robust building system (lots of games use the same square & triangle tile grid system, not a lot do it well) it has a few quirks with placement, but you can cycle snapping points easily, and there are a few tricks to get things to work. The tile sets are pretty nice as well. And if you just like building in games like this, it comes with a built-in option to enter "Creative Mode" at will, in single player. Great for exploring build ideas, testing layouts for trap effectiveness, and in general just having fun with it. Crafting is pretty well done, with the tribesmen automation of it taking away a decent bit of the grind. Being able to set a custom amount of X item to be maintained is quite handy if you tend to be forgetful about crafting regular stock (like me lol) The combat is decent, but not omg wow amazing. It's basic enough in execution that it doesn't feel bad, but diverse enough that you can mix and match to your playstyle. Bringing the tribe along for a tough fight is great, just be sure to have everyone kitted and fitted before you take on a large group/boss, they CAN DIE (but not a big deal once you unlock the ability to "respawn" them) The visuals are quite nice as well. Not cartoony like some games (not a bad thing) but also not too hyper realistic or uncanny. The outfits and weapon cosmetics are pretty cool, and it seems like as the game grows we will get more (hopefully) Mod support is pretty nice as well, both Workshop and Nexus have a small collection, but again as the game grows, more will come (this is more likely guaranteed though) 8/10, saw AmbiguousAmphibian play this once and got it + the DLC (yes just to build a silly flying ship. totes worth it)
Looks cool plays like ♥♥♥♥... Endless grind gear breaks soo fast... Servers Laggy PVP buggy AFK.
!!!
好评,希望增加定向培养族人,游戏内容在加多一点
Extremely complex game, sooo many things to do, sooo many things to farm. I think I should almost be done with the tutorial by now (104h played)? 100% Recommended! Adore it to the pyramid and beyond! If you get bored by farming, World Settings is your friend :)
Precisa de suporte pra controle URGENTE! Se já jogou Conan Exiles e gostou, vai gostar desse também!
