You explore an alien machine, learn to operate it, create virtual organisms, and grow an artificial ecosystem inside it. You design species down to individual atoms and watch them fight for survival. You then send successful species to other players to leech energy from them and power your machine.

About
soul Interface is an evolution simulator / sandbox with functioning natural selection and space multiplayer. It provides multiple playstyles depending on which you prefer:
Involved - You get to design organisms with soft bodies made of individual atoms and brains made up of neurons and neural networks. You program or train their behaviors to outeat, outgrow or hunt into extinction competing lifeforms. Eventually, you get to send out your most invasive organsims and duel with other players, trying to overtake their ecosystems with your species…
Chill - You are tasked with growing and maintaining a virtual aquarium.
You will create safe, warm currents to grow digital jellyfish; architect growbeds for virtual seaweed; or safe hunting grounds for baby sharks. Select species of plants and predators that coexist well together… and watch your digital ecosystem flourish!
All this wrapped in hand-programmed vector graphics, from an alternate reality 2000s. The game features full voiceacting and an atmospheric music score by our amazing composer, Geoffrey Guyer.

Incredible experimental A-Life simulation with MASSIVE potential and atmosphere to boot, the game's really complex to understand but is absolutely wroth giving a try if you're into this kind of thing. Will update with a better review soon
i have no clue what im doing or how anything works. 10/10. made a squid, let it train for 20 hours. smashed itself between the food ball and the breed ball. then it died.
8 minutes 2 Crashes. Meehhh
Thought I'd play this since i have no soul. 10/10
Very unique game for a very unique audience. There are some bugs, but once those are ironed out and multiplayer is implemented, this game will be great. EDIT: * Changed from recommended to not recommended. With the latest major update, I restarted from the beginning to test out the new features. Here is my opinion. While there is a noticeable improvement to the tutorial, it is still not up to par and needs a lot of work to keep new players. The tutorial alone will be the single reason new players get frustrated and leave. I myself, got frustrated before I even reached the end of the tutorial and closed the game. I didn't even get to test out the newly implemented multiplayer. I will say that, there have been some other good improvements/changes to the game, which are nice. There have also been various bug fixes, which most of the bugs I encountered the first time I attempted this game, I did not enounter this time. But, unfortunately, there have been new bugs and instability issues introduced. For example, I crashed twice when attempting to train my newly created molecule during the tutorial, both times getting reverted back to the start of the molecule creation and I just could not be bothered to create it again. That being said, I think this game has potential and is promising, but I cannot really recommend it right now, especially to players that don't have a lot of patience with tedious things. I will check back every few months for updates and see what progress has been made.
