Sorcery Saga: Curse of the Great Curry God

This game was one of my earlier purchases on STEAM, but even after many years, it's still fun to return to. It's noy an easy game to get used to. Trying to hurry through the game is a bad idea; simple, but efficient resource management and euipment upgrading are essential to success in the long run. Otherwise the player can become easily frustrated by the underlying game mechanics. Otherwise, the game's Anime style art, and tongue - in - cheeck humor is, for me personally, very appealing and entertaining.

I love this game, very fond memories of it, thinking of booting it up again.

The game starts fragmenting and crashing near floor 12 of the volcano dungeon in chapter 2, physically unplayable

I explored a forest and collected some stuff. The controls were kind of janky, you need to hold a button to be able to move diagonally, there's a little monster guy that follows you around and loses health with each step, which is more of an annoyance than a help, especially when he gets in the way. I reached a cave, but my companion was hungry and I had nothing left to feed it. The game told me if it passes out from hunger I'd lose, so I went back to town. Arriving back in town, all my stuff was gone... Maybe I missed the part of the tutorial that told me this but, why does it work that way? It's not like I got knocked out and dropped the stuff... Tried again, this time making sure to not waste time exploring (because who wants to explore in a dungeon crawler?). Made it back to the cave, this time companion was well fed. Progressed around 4 floors before game crashed and all progress was lost. Uninstalled.

le jeu plante sans arrêt : bug graphique, bug de mémoire d'après les messages... j'ai un PC gamer datant d'un an, pour faire tourner un jeu 3DS faut pas exagérer Et dans un donjon RPG ou on ne peut pas sauvegarder, ca tue le jeu. ca arrive régulièrement et aléatoirement, parfois pas du tout pendant des heures et parfois on regarde un item et paf retour bureau avec graphi/graph en message d'erreur une fenetre est ouverte en permanence sur windows et se ferme seulement 4 a 5 secondes après avoir clos le jeu : y a vraiment quelque chose que les dev ont mal fichu dans ce portage Je l'ai aimé et fini sur console, j'aurais aimé le faire tranquillement sur PC mais c'était une erreur : je suis obligé pour le faire de save temp, copier les save et relancer le jeu en espérant ne pas planter

Pros: -Extremely cute char designs -Good, fun, light-hearted story with funny comedic scenes here and there Cons: -Combat is too hard, grindy and repetitive Worth it on discounts

It is a real fun mystery dungeon with a silly story and fun game play.
