Я играю в линии нападения, то есть моя задача - защищать своего квотербека и открывать ему путь к зачетной зоне. Однажды, во время матча, мы играли против команды, которая была известна своей жесткой игрой. В одном из моментов, когда я стоял на линии скрима, противник, огромный парень, весивший не меньше меня, подбежал и ударил меня в живот. Я почувствовал, как воздух вылетел из моих легких, и я начал задыхаться. Но вместо того, чтобы падать на землю и терять сознание, как это делают в кино, я просто стоял и смотрел на него, как на идиота. Он, видимо, ожидал, что я рухну на колени и буду корчиться от боли, но ничего не произошло. Я просто стоял и смотрел на него, а вокруг нас толпа игроков и болельщиков ждала моей реакции. Наконец, я не выдержал и начал смеяться. Я смеялся так громко, что все вокруг обернулись и начали смотреть на нас. Противник, видимо, не ожидал такой реакции и начал краснеть от смущения. Я наконец-то перестал смеяться и сказал ему: "Эй, парень, ты что, пытаешься меня убить? Или просто хочешь, чтобы я тебя обнял?" Все вокруг начали хохотать, и даже судья не мог сдержать улыбку. В итоге, мы оба получили штрафной фол за неспортивное поведение, но я считаю, что это того стоило. С тех пор меня в команде называют "непробиваемый Брент", и я горжусь этим званием. Я доказал, что даже удар в живот не может меня вывести из себя. И если вы когда-нибудь увидите меня на поле, знайте, что я всегда готов к шуткам и приколам. I'm mostly interested in the franchise management aspects of the game. Some aspects of that are pretty sadly lacking here. In particular, trading of draft picks is horrible, has seemed buggy at times, if you have more than one pick in the same round you can't tell which one you are trading. Trading is also just not very user-friendly. Finances are kind of weird ... not really a salary cap, but there is a budget, and not really signing bonuses, but if you trade or release a player it penalizes you 1/3 of their remaining contract salary. Some of the quirks you could get used to I guess but the trading aspect, especially relating to draft picks, is a deal killer for that part of the game. I didn't play twitchy style, just coached or observed, so I can't speak to that, but overall the graphics, logic and simulated physics aren't terrible, considering how complex those things are. I know it isn't easy to develop something where tackling is both realistically simulated and looks that way, and I'm willing to pay into the game to support that development, but the team management aspects should really be a lot easier to program and they need a lot of work.

2/10 clunky controls, but its better than Axis Football 2015 and will be joining it in my hidden game abyss

The franchise mode is light years ahead of Madden. That is what this game is all about. This game isn't for people who want nice graphics or good gameplay. It is for people who care about the intricate details of franchise mode and investing in a company that cares about the community and will hopefully one day make enough money to improve their gameplay enough to compete with Madden. The best way to get your gameplay fix is to play Madden 08 and then play Axis for franchise.

Terrible game. Basically unplayable on pc with the control scheme. Graphics look like 2003. Bored after 10 minutes. Not worth the $4.99.

It is all a one time fee of $30 up front, the way all games should be, and the lack of professional or college teams can be fixed with a mod. So, what stops this from getting a recommendation? Well let's look at the positives first: [list] [*]Competitor to EA's massive Madden and returning NCAA College Football franchises [*]The Franchise mode is almost on par with Madden [*]Very modular. There are several notable mods, such as: NCAA Exhibition, NFL, XFL, CFL, etc. [*]Axis Games ACTUALLY LISTENS. [*]Game is difficult regardless of difficulty. This isnt a bad thing. Matter of fact, this is a [b]VERY[/b] good thing. this makes sure you cannot spam a long pass constantly or just get a touchdown easily. [*]No Ultimate Team esque mode, with no further monetization attached. [/list] Here are some negatives: [list] [*]Controller issues plague the game, as reported by several reviews [*]This game's system requirements are slightly over-exaggerated. You can run this on a budget laptop on lowest setting, which consists of: - Intel Core i3-3217U (2c/4t) @ 2.0GHz (the biggest bottleneck) - 6 GB DDR3 RAM - Intel HD Graphics 4000 Integrated Graphics. You can run it under these configurations and it is kinda playable, but it isnt recommended due to stutters upon catching the ball. You will need to upgrade the processor to have a 30 FPS experience. [*]Several plays are broken, and can jam up players. [*]Sometimes the UI can bug out and display game setup and main menu, if you do a split second decision to change settings. [*]Defensive calls ran by the AI are very old and havent been ran in 60+ years in the real world. [*]Some of these plays just simply do not exist in any real league. Nothing mods cant fix though. [*]No online multiplayer. This is a good or bad thing. But if you simply wanted to play with someone over the internet, look somewhere else. [/list] I am inclined to believe this is a huge improvement compared to AXF19, but with several key issues, including borked controls, plays and AI some of the time, I just cannot recommend it right now. Wait for AXF21.

I am drinking a nice cold glass of milk right now. Or, I wish I was. Typing instead of feeling the thick satisfying wave of fresh white milk crash into my throat is almost torture. Any time I spend away from drinking milk is a waste, just as well spent doing nothing at all. I love milk so much that I would say it is unreal, but milk is my reality. It is my one and only. If milk had a hand, I wouldn't take it into marriage because I would be too busy drinking it down like the thirsty little dairy sponge I am.
