system shock 1 gigachads rise up
soviet shock is very good. love the humor, love the shock
The first half of the game is really nice, but for some reason I feel like the latter two levels fall apart level-design wise, and navigation becomes a chore. I'm halfway through the 3rd level and I'm quitting the game because it's not as interesting anymore, but I'll still give it a thumbs up on sale because the first half is still really good, and there's enough content there to justify the price on sale

Some annoying bugs and I honestly think the resource balancing on "intended difficulty" was miserable, yet this game is so wonderfully creative. System Shock comparisons fall short of acknowledging just how many new and interesting ideas are in here, and most of them are very well executed.
Immersion, immersion, immersion. There are some games which you instinctively know you'll enjoy from the first moment. Atmospheric, tense and immensely entertaining. Sonar Shock is a fine case for "less is more" and harkens back to simpler time in PC gaming history. I've barely scratched the surface but this is an easy recommendation (especially on sale).
Cant even play the game. Created a character and got stuck on loading screen. Tried to uninstall and reinstall, still didn't work. Requested a refund and was denied. Let me know when the game actually works.
this game is good but my pc cant handle it
It hurts me to not give this game a recommendation. I was a big fan of the original System Shock back in the day. This game is a great throwback. I love the character selection with the country of origin background. I really like the interface which is just straight from System Shock 1. The combat is serviceable but what I really enjoy was the interactivity with the environment. There are bookcases that you can flip and reveal secret passageways like in Scooby-Doo. Now onto why I cannot recommend the game despite liking it. As soon as I got to level three the game slowed to a crawl. I do not know if it was a lighting issue or because the game repopulates enemies on the lower floors. It just made the game slow down to 6 FPS and it becomes impossible to actually hit enemies or use the reload interface properly. I hope the dev goes back and fixes the issue. I really like the gameplay and atmosphere but I cannot tell anyone to buy this game when it breaks down just when it starts to get good.
my biggest complaint is that the sound effect when you break crates could stand to be about six hundred thousand decibels louder. and more telephone sounds please
На этой подлодке происходит что-то странное
