About
Created and written by lifelong fans of Pen & Paper RPGs, comes Solasta: Crown of the Magister.
Roll for initiative, take attacks of opportunity, manage player location and the verticality of the battle field. Set yourself up for the finishing strike and possibly roll a natural 20 at that key moment of battle.
In Solasta, you take control of four heroes, each with unique skills that complement one another. Every hero expresses themselves in the adventure, making each action and dialog choice a dynamic part to the story. Players will create their heroes just as they would in a pen-and-paper game by choosing their race, class, personality and rolling for their stats.
You make the choices, dice decide your destiny.
An Epic Team Adventure
Discover the shattered world of Solasta: explore ruins and dungeons for legendary treasures, learn the truth of an age-old cataclysm - and stop it from happening again.
Create your very own party of adventurers with our Character Creation Tool in the classic tabletop RPG tradition. Breathe life into your heroes, and see their personalities reflected in their dialogue. Tailor your squad to your preferred strategy and maximize your party's abilities. The choice is yours.
Discover a Mysterious & Dynamic World
Delve into long forgotten dungeons to unearth ancient artifacts, but stay watchful of light and darkness: many dangers hide in the dark, but a light can attract monsters. Some enemies have darkvision, some may flee from your torch... Successful adventurers will learn to use it to their advantage.
Fight monsters in squad-level, turn-based, tactical combat. Solasta's dynamic environment offers some interesting tactical options. Bridges can collapse, leaving enemies stranded and vulnerable. Walls and columns can be pushed over - on top of your foes, if you do it right. The world is your playground.
Prepare to Think in Three Dimensions
The dungeons in Solasta are more than flat game-boards. Climb, jump, or fly around obstacles. Evade or surprise foes from above or below. Push them into chasms or drop things on their heads. Position yourself on high grounds to start the fight with an advantage.
Size also matters. Escape through narrow passages where bigger enemies won't fit and crawl through tunnels to find secret areas. Take advantage of the environment to find cover suited to your own size. Watch out, though - the monsters are also thinking vertically.
Dungeon Maker
In Solasta, the adventure does not stop after the campaign is over. Unleash your creativity and craft your own dungeons to play and share with friends with the snap of a finger using the in-game Dungeon Maker! From the room layout, monster composition and treasure the party will find – down to the decoration and lighting of each room or the music track playing – everything is decided by you.

I think if you were to look up the dictionary definition of a 6/10 CRPG, it would be Solasta: Crown of the Magister. It's an enjoyable game for what it is, but little more than that. As a fan of D&D who was looking for a simpler CRPG experience, it was exactly what I wanted. It has fun combat and some really good encounters. The writing and characters are lackluster, but I think the one thing that could really put people off is just how railroaded this game's narrative is. It is by far the most railroaded story I've experienced in an RPG. The only agency you have is how your characters are built and dressed. That are some choices, but it's mainly about whether or not to do a side quest. I think expectations should be held in check before you play this game, especially considering it's made by people who previously had no experience with CRPGs who were operating on a kickstarter budget of less than $1 million.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a fun game to play solo or with friends. The controls are a little clunky sometimes, and often I don't feel like I'm getting the full story on exactly what spells/feats/etc. do. Even so, it's still fluid enough to enjoy. I would say it's more combat-oriented than story-oriented. The story seems to stitch together combat encounters.

Ok, fair warning: I never played BGIII (or any other BG). That being said, I heard people complain, and I can't see why. Solasta isn't just a copy, and even if it does get inspired, so what? The story is nice, plays solidly (even on my potato PC) and DLC's and mods are plentiful...
很多人说建模丑还在过关卡的时候强制露面,但我觉得还能接受。然后战斗确实很爽。
Great game so far, not heavy on story but there's definitely some in there, your dialogue doesn't matter much and there's not much character development but it's good overall, but be wary that it's heavy on combat, there's an incredible menu to customize difficulty to make it as easy or painful you want it to be; some of the first few fights are pretty boring if you're a paladin build, it consists of hitting someone and moving a few steps, but it gets much better. My biggest ick that makes me lean into saying it's a bit of a hit or miss is that some missions prolong their stay and that a big amount of customization is locked behind DLC. It has annoyed me greatly since many races (Dragonborn is what I wanted), classes (Bard is what I wanted), and subclasses with a few other things are fully locked and limits the replayability of the game. I supported the devs by buying Solasta II and I truly hope they don't lock the races and classes at least since it's a bit ridiculous to paywall essential components in a cRPG. Besides that, game is great and has a eurojank charm and is bug-free. Thank you, Tactical Adventures, for displaying your passion for DnD through these games, I'm sure they'd basically nail every TTRPG ranging from Call of Cthulu, Pathfinder 2e, Vampire the Masquerade, Shadowrun, and basically anything in between. Hoping you're the next Larian or Owlcat!
Bom demais
It's not perfect, but its fun and engaging. The story is kind of homebrew TT campaign quality. I thought it was fine. The mechanics are really closed to TT. So, if you want something like the TT experience but can't get a group together....give it a go.
