This one was particularly frustrating. There were times when the sprites were clearly overlapping, leg over leg, and my strike did not connect. It is otherwise a fun game. The biggest draw is the roster of characters. It was fun playing as Red Arremer. Each character has a unique dialogue with each other before their match. I would recommend it for fighting game enthusiasts looking for something new.
You would only want to buy this unbalance mess just for the better inputs.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

🎮 Overview & First Impressions SVC Chaos is a curious relic brought back to modern hardware: a 2003 SNK-developed one-vs-one fighter that blends characters from SNK and Capcom, now gifted with rollback netcode, a hitbox viewer, and a gallery mode. It isn’t a perfect resurrection, but for fans of retro fighters (or people curious about odd crossovers), it offers a slice of fighting-game history with some fresh wrinkles. ⸻ 👍 What Works / Strengths 1. Rostering & novelty The fact that all 36 characters (standard + bosses) are immediately unlocked in this version is a solid plus. The roster mixes “usual suspects” like Ryu, Terry, Kyo with more obscure picks (Mars People, Red Arremer, etc.), giving the game a chaotic, “grab bag” vibe. 2. Faithful port & modern conveniences The port by Code Mystics does a good job preserving the original feel, avoiding emulator artifacts or major glitches. Features like rollback netcode, hitbox viewer, and a gallery mode are welcome additions that elevate the experience beyond a bare-bones re-release. 3. Speed & responsiveness Combat feels snappy. The game leans more toward an SNK/KOF feel than a pure Capcom-style fighter, which helps it carve its own identity in the crossover space. The added “Front Grand Step” mechanic (which allows cancelling attacks via a forward dash) provides a layer of tactical counterplay. ⸻ 👎 What Falls Short / Weaknesses 1. Lackluster presentation / drab stages The backgrounds tend to be barebones and flat, lacking animation or life. The muted colors and sparse stage detail make the game feel visually dated, especially compared to more polished fighters. Some Capcom character sprites reinterpreted in SNK style look good—but inconsistencies and odd shading (especially on characters like Bison) expose the budget constraints. 2. Balance & “jank” issues The game was always a bit rough around the edges, and those flaws weren’t fully fixed in this re-release. There remain characters or strategies that are overpowered, move misses, collisions that feel off, and general imbalance. Some users note that moves sometimes don’t behave as expected (e.g. a move missing when it visually should connect), or characters facing wrong directions. 3. Harsh AI / frustrating single-player The CPU difficulty scaling is brutal. Even on “easier” levels, enemy behavior can feel unwelcoming, spamming projectiles or being excessively aggressive with minimal reaction windows. The “SNK Boss Syndrome” kicks in: bosses become much tougher, and the arcade run’s continuation rule (only a few continues) makes failure punishing. 4. Lack of crossplay & shallow mode variety While the online netcode is solid, there’s no crossplay support, which splits the player base across platforms. The game doesn’t offer much in the way of extra modes (outside of arcade runs, versus, and gallery). There’s no deep story mode or extensive single-player content. ⸻ 🎯 Verdict (7/10) SVC Chaos on Steam is not a must-play for everyone, but it’s a worthy re-release for fans of retro fighters, crossover curiosities, or those who appreciate developer boldness over polish. If you walk in expecting a refined modern fighter, you’ll stumble over its flaws: visual drabness, balance wrinkles, and punishing AI. But if you lean into its eccentricities and accept its rough edges, you’ll find a fast, chaotic, and oddly charming experience. Verdict: 7/10 You get a fun, nostalgic ride with some modern goodies, but it’s held back by dated visuals, balance quirks, and limited mode depth. If you love SNK, Capcom rivalries, or retro fighters in general, it’s absolutely worth checking out.
No controle Xbox eu acho difícil. Boa sorte!
