Reviews
Feels dated and janky, plagued by UI and performance issues. Opening the instruction manual crashes the game. This should not be a yearly release, there is no excuse but greed to keep releasing the same broken game every year instead of fixing it. It is pretty nostalgic to have to navigate this early 2000s UI with tiny illegible buttons, but it's not as fun compared to similar games that are more user friendly like horse racing manager. There is also a free mobile version that is exactly the same game, starters orders touch, get that instead of paying $25 for this.
loads of fun for all horse racing fans
If you are interested in horse racing, you should enjoy this. I enjoy breeding my horses, training them, then watching them race. The details of the horses (condition, preferences, breeding, and psych) are better than I've seen in other horse racing sims in the past, and give you a good amount of control over your stable.
Horse run fast. Hopefully.
One of the best horse racing games ive played, think football manager for horse racing.
Best horse racing sim with graphics...great mods and community. I play single player but plan to join an online league after I get a few race horses ready.
Great Horse Racing Manager game, we need a new one!
Fun game once you learn it. Cant figure out how to turn off auctions on horses. But otherwise, seems pretty good!
Nice
Main complaint is that twice now, it has crashed after playing for a couple hours, without saving the current session's progress, and unfortunately it isn't quite engaging enough to make me want to go back and restart from the previous save. To be fair, you can easily save at ~any point, so do that if you play. The other thing I find less enjoyable is that it is difficult to make enough money to stay afloat by racing your horses; while it's quite easy to make money by betting on other races, doing so is grindy and boring. Other than that it's not bad, if you like sports management games or horse racing.
