Sniper elite 4 is really really cool. The maps are much bigger than sniper elite 3 and aren't as linear, in sniper elite 3 you sorta had one way you would go about an objective and that was it really, but in sniper elite 4 you are given a ton of access points and options and an insane amount of equipment. A phrase that comes to mind is "variety is the spice of death," while you can by all means just gun everyone down in a fast, clean and in all honesty a tad boring manner, i really think this game excels when you try out the extra equipment you find and are given during the level, all the difference types of mines and explosives are fun to use because blowing stuff up is fun. The maps are honestly really beautiful and breathtaking to look out and are designed wonderfully to account for tons of ways to complete an objective and even ways to create your own path, all are very memorable and cool. The story is nothing fantastic, i feel like it just serves as a justification for you to travel between the different maps and complete the different objectives (which are all very cool,) and i feel like that justifies it being pretty much nonexistent. The music is really really good, especially the main menu music, very memorable. The gunplay is wonderful, all the weapons feel very fun to shoot and are very beefy which is funny considering you wouldn't wanna be shooting half the time because the game as much more enjoyable as a stealth game. Lovely game, very replayable with all the diffculity modes and extra challenges for each level, the price is a bit excessive after all these years but do purchase it if it's on sale. Strong 9/10
