Snakebird Primer

Il primo Snakebird poteva sembrare carino e cuccioloso, ma non aveva problemi a farti sentire inadeguato nelle tue capacità mentali. Snakebird Primer è un'ottima introduzione a questo tipo di puzzle, molto più ristretto e "gentile", ma sempre con un buon grado di difficoltà (senza andare nell'eccessivo!). Consigliato, anche se breve.

这是本体后推出的极简版，相当于保留本体的大架构然后置换了一套极简的谜题——机制还是那些，但大部分简单到走个过场都可以，除了部分星星和隐藏不太需要动脑。当向萌新展示机制的游戏还可以，实际解谜体验和本体差很大了。

perfect! this game was exactly the right amount of challenging for me, not too difficult to get easily frustrated, but not too easy either :D

This review is specially made for those who like to get all the achievements in games. Some spoilers ahead. Snakebird Primer is an indie puzzle game where you control one or more snakes with a bird head that move in a grid system where the objective is reaching the goal. The game has several different regions and a few different mechanics like death hazards, teleports and movable objects. The graphics are bright and colorful but the figures and backgrounds’ designs are very simplified and mostly targeted at children. The different regions are also distinct from each other with different colors schemes and visual elements. The gameplay is very simple but you can get stuck on a few levels because the game doesn’t explain some mechanics and sometimes you can also miss some of the intractable objects. So he’s some help: [spoiler]in some levels where you need to put snakes on an edge, if the head in out you won’t have enough body length to turn it around, so put the tail out by pushing the snake with another snake.[/spoiler] [b]Achievements:[/b] [b]How many:[/b] 12 Achievements. Actually pretty happy i managed to complete these without any help. Kinda scared for the original, coming up next.

If you're into puzzle games this is really fun. 100% in about 2 hours. Not too challenging either. Some puzzles you need to think about, majority of them you can complete on autopilot.

I lovelovelovelove the original Snakebird. One of my favorite puzzle games ever, and one of the only ones I've actually beat lmao. I bought Snakebird Primer today, as it's on a 50% sale. (I will refer to the original as "Snake Bird" and this one as "Primer") Safe to say, I'm glad I bought it on the 50% sale, 'cause this game is leagues, and I mean LEAGUES easier than Snakebird. I am not kidding when I say I struggled on the first 10 levels of Snakebird more than I struggles with this entire game. BUT in the games defense, I am 100% done with Snakebird, so of course I would have an easy time with Primer, as I understand all the game has to offer, how to move the birds, how to get around the gimmicks, that stuff. An issue I have, but this is hypothetical, as I started out with Snakebird, is the fact that Primer has more fruits, an extra bird and 2 areas that arent present in the original. This is good, yeah, the new areas look amazing, the new fruits look tasty and the new bird is adorable, but what if I started out with Primer? Would I be dissapointed that theres no oasis or jungle or watermelons or yellow birds in the harder one. Other than that, the gameplay is as good as the original, the puzzles, though easier, are still fun. Most of the puzzles are navigation based, like how you move the bird around, and the solutions are a bit loosey goosey, which is good for an easy puzzle game. Soundtrack is basically the same as Snakebird, with two new songs for the new areas, which bop. I love the soundtrack to bits, and the special level song makes me kind of emotional for some reason. Still a solid 4/5 to 5/5 game. If you're considering getting into puzzle games and wanna start out easy PLEASE pick up this game, it's really cheap, really fun and really charming :)

Completing the original snakebird took me many hours completing this took me 50 minutes so unless you're under 5 this won't be a very engaging experience
