Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Jul 22 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Slimekeep is a fast paced action roguelike with a heavy emphasis on decision making and player freedom. Adventure through procedurally generated levels, in a quest to stop the spread of corruption created by the Slime King. You'll have the choice to fight or capture slimes, visit the Slime King's lair, or hold off another day, and so much more. Think Enter the Gungeon meets Slime Rancher, with additional unique mechanics, and elements.
Unique Combat:
In Slimekeep, every slime will grow over time. You can decide between letting slimes grow for more resources, at the cost of them becoming more powerful. Or, if you'd like, kill off the slimes early, providing less resources, but making for an easier, and less risky fight. All of this with an array of over 80 unique weapons and upgrades.
Slime Pet:
If you'd like to take a more passive route to combat, you can capture slimes with a specially crafted capture gun, capable of extracting essence out of slimes, which can be used to upgrade your slime pet. Choose one, or many paths to build your slime pet around, from brute to assassin to specialty. Craft your slime pet to transform from a simple helper to a full-blown slime destroying machine.
Bosses:
Slimekeep contains a cast of 5 unique bosses. Battle against mechs, samurais, or DJs. Each boss is carefully crafted with unique art, animations, attacks, and gimmicks to create a real challenge. And to beat the game, all you have to do is defeat the dreaded slime king, in which you can visit at any time. Sounds simple, right?

This game is my first action roguelike, and I have learned two things. I am not naturally good at it, but I can get better. And rogue likes are fun if they are as good as this one.
50% one of the top 1000 games ever
All in all, I would recommend at least to give it a try. Clearly I don't have much time on it and I myself am sort of dissapointed in that. I love Benbonk and I appreciate his hard work, dedication, and effort he put in this game but I'm not gonna say I wasn't a little sad after playing for a while. Truth be told it just doesn't seem like a game that was worked on for as long as it did. But I don't want to slander Benbonk for that, his life was busy and that's understandable. I want to support indie devs and I'll continue playing Benbonk's games, this one just wasn't there for me. Im hoping that in the future, however, one of them will be. Thanks for all you do for us Benbonk and keep making games!

DONT BUY, PLEASE. The progression sucks, with the game being not overly difficult, just tedious. The enemies are simple, but healing takes up all your currency. Its boring waiting for slimes to level up, and overall its just boring. Change this game, so that you get slimeballs for capturing and focus on the capturing only, because most of the time its not worth it to kill them, but you need to to heal and to recharge. i think the capturing is the only fun part of it, and its mediocre at best. No updates for a year, dev has left this buggy game. was more fun to watch the dev build the game than to pay it. most regretted purchase of my steam history
I was thrilled to get a free copy and even more so thrilled to have contributed to the project. I strongly believe this is an amazing game to be enjoyed by one and all.
boring ahh game, you can get 10x better roguelikes for the same price
Very neat roguelike! Found this game through one of the game dev log videos on YouTube and wishlisted it to support the dev, eventually bought it and played it a bit. Its a lot of fun! I loved the random minigames sprinkled throughout and the design of the bosses is stellar. The gameplay loop can get a bit repetitive considering that "the build" you are going for is less dictated by "the run" but more so by the upgrades you decide to choose from back at the base. $15 might be a bit steep for the amount of content, but if its on sale and you are a fan of twin stick shooters and roguelikes, for sure purchase it!
Listen, all respect in the WORLD for this indie game, but i just don't really love the mechanics in this game. Slimekeep is a cute roguelike game that has a good presentation and cute graphics, i personally don't mind the presentation of the game being focused in a single color. However, after a few hours of gameplay, i can certainly assure you, there isn't much beyond the cute graphics, which is a shame for an indie game with such ambition. The weapons blend in together and they all do basically the same thing, the powers are hard to get and once your fuel for the special weapon is gone, you better hope that you got enough money to buy the refill. Some achievements and game mechanics are simply confusing and not really well explained to the player and while im not against a difficult challeng in my video games, the gameplay loop is simply too tedious and boring for me to figure everything out. This is a fun game for the first few hours, but its shallow and lacks interesting ideas that most roguelikes have to keep the player on their toes. im leaving a like on this review, but i don't really recommend the game, I just like to support indie devs.
I've been watching the devlogs for this game for ages, and that makes playing it all the more satisfying, seeing all the work pay off The game itself isn't my favorite, but that's because I'm not good at it. I still really recommend it
