You'd better fix last boss health points, it is not okay to hit and dodge a simple patterns for 15-30 mins, i'm scared to think how much time it will take on NG+, looks like you guys didnt really test ur product from common player view and just went through segments. Personally i like the game a lot but im not a psycho to sit a half of hour and do the same 3 moves its not cool, hope you can fix it and announce it in patch then ill recommend ur game for sure.
The studio behind the game is dead. The link to their website (on the store page) takes you to some scam betting site. And the bugs from initial release are still present in the game (mouse clicks don't register 25% of the time) Concept is fun, but execution is poor, and the studio is dead. If you can get past the clunky animations and UI, and the fact that attacks don't register every time, it seems alright.
Game looks cool and has some ideas, but it's not fun. For 3 hours, I was fighting the same 4 enemies over and over, sometimes of a different color. Then I had a boring mini-boss, and the enemies finally looked different. However, the enemies didn't act different. You fought them so similarly to the first round that it wasn't notable. The correct tactic is to run away from everything, wait for an attack, and counterattack very patiently because nothing in the early game causes stagger. A slow hammer won't even stun a wasp. Most attacks are worthless, so you're repeating the same combos over and over (charge on hammer, followed by downward slam, back out... over and over). It's also a bit of a nightmare for new players. The game also does that Monster Hunter thing where it throws a bunch of text tutorials at you well before you need it. For example, it talked about how I can upgrade stuff at the home base, but I literally never upgraded anything because upgrading requires you to die, and I didn't die the entire 3 hours of playing. The tutorial teaches you how to move, attack, and use your "spell", but it doesn't teach you how healing works at all. The story is uninteresting. They throw a lot of names at you that you will never remember, and it's simultaneously trying to create an odd, eerie world, but also be funny. In English, at least, it was not funny. Your fairy companion is super annoying--so annoying, in fact, that you can turn her dialogue off in the system menu... So I guess they knew. She warns you of mostly unimpressive traps (shout out to the axe, that is the only cool one) and has a limited inventory space that's super annoying to manage. Speaking of minor annoyances, it's so hard to tell where you're teleporting. Collecting resources is a chore, and sometimes requires a ranged attack because they devs didn't test the hitbox of their character on certain hills. You have to hold down buttons to skip cutscenes that you've seen 10s of times, which wastes a second for no apparent reason. You also need to hold down a button to decide whether you want to look at the stats of the item on the ground. You can't pick it up and decide later--it permanently replaces your current item. In what universe would I not want to see the stats of the thing I am considering replacing my current equipment with? The art is great, the world is cool, and some of the animation are pretty sick. If the devs had asked themselves what makes a game fun and accessible, they had something here. But unfortunately, after 3 hours of giving it a good try, I will not continue.
giga słaby soulslike rougelite
SNAPSHOT
A strange but fun action game with a massive amount of progression + content
OVERALL - 6.5 / 10

PROS
+ way more content than it has any right to have + combat is pretty fun overall + lots of weapons / spells to unlock
CONS
- maybe a little too much content - combat doesn't have a ton of depth - every texture is way too muddy - a lot of annoying bugs
FULL REVIEW
This game is a lot but seems to clearly have been a labor of love. There's definitely a lot of annoying bugs and the humor is very strange / absurd but overall it's still a game worth playing. There's a massive amount of upgrades to buy + things to collect that will provide a ton of playtime for anyone wishing to beat the game multiple times over. Although the cutscenes in the game are a massive annoyance and there is no way to disable them completely, they are at least skippable so you will undoubtedly be doing a LOT of that. There is an insane amount of art / content in the game which makes up for a lot of these flaws and while I didn't end up playing completely through NG+ (or NG++) it is definitely a game that someone can easily spend 100+ hours on it if they so desired. I wish there was a bit more depth / strategy to the game and a bit less randomness to it. The mods / perks one can "install" each level are easily the most important things to get, but acquiring them requires a lot of RNG. While players can thankfully reroll mods to try and get the one they want, there is no way to guarantee them for the desired stat you want. This can leave players struggling to get any useful mods if their luck is bad - which seems to happen more often than not. Overall this game is worth playing for fans of the genre (even with the amount of annoying bugs that still exist), and definitely worth it if it goes on sale for something like 80% off like it is now.
Soulslike w stylu roguelite. A, no i pomimo obsługi całej gry padem, w menu pauzy musimy sterować kursorem. DLACZEGO Nie miałem ochoty grać do końca, tyle czasu wystarczy.
I love the game but the last few achivements I need are bugged and unobtainable after a patch. I don't think anyone is working on a fix???? Also the last boss just takes forever to fight. like actually 30 min to an hour, scale back the dudes health
TLDR; extremely repetitive.. and extremely slow to progress.. and when it crashes you lose all progress! and DO NOT press the button.. mean spirited devs... the thing that annoyed me straight away, was when you first start - healing isnt explained! and considering that is pretty much essential, they could have spent a few seconds on it rather than just about anything else they did explain! but the general game play loop is mindnumbingly boring and repetitive. as a result its not a game I can spend too much time on.. because once you die, you start with nothing but a basic weapon and some basic armour.. again... and it has VERY slow progression (you hardly ever find plans to try and complete a blueprint, mostly get these stupid 'story' pieces!).. and the combat.. is highly annoying.. the 'hit box' on some of the creatures is tiny.. you seem to be hitting it with these HUGE slashes you make .. but they somehow dont make contact! and you're constantly swinging the wrong way (one weapon is highly annoying.. he 'taps' his foot a few times before swinging!!).. even though you're facing the enemy.. some weapons are far more 'enjoyable' than others.. but the ranged 'spells' are useless (at least the ones I've come across.. and a grenade is like a dart instead of throwing.. it just 'fires' straight!).. you cant aim them! not the worst of combat mechanics I've come across.. but still very very bad. then they give you the option to 'skip' content...via the battery/transporter mechanism.. but then you'd be missing out on the VERY necessary upgrades you get at each safe house.. IF and that is a BIG IF the mod works.. I've put in multiple mods that I've collected (replaced the 'free' one.. and they DO NOT work as per the description!) ... plus you'd be going to a lower level with a basic weapon/armour and get smacked about (obviously intended when you're 'geared up'.. but they dont tell you that!!)! the game is only for time rich people that can spend hours in this constant loop of play for a few hours, then die to some unknown mob mechanic, rebirth, improve troll, die, repeat... but then it crashes on you, or becomes unresponsive (keys wont activate or respond correctly) or the boss disappears and wont reappear, so you 'abandon the event'.. and it wont let you restart it!! so you have to repeat the whole level all again.. cannot recommend for anyone let alone the time poor
A very enjoyable experience if you approach it like a Simple Series title, and play with a controller. Keyboard and mouse just doesn't cut it. There are a few rough edges, but the difficulty feels just right. One of those games where the bad qualities just add up to the charm. Then again, no matter how much you like the game, you'll be screaming and cursing because you got stuck on some object and died during battle, losing a character you thought was THE ONE. Also, I hate that you can't run when an enemy is close by and has noticed you. But still I keep playing, because this is a one of a kind game.
