I need more ranching of slimes
i remember watching many slime rancher lets plays on youtube when i was little, glad i finally played it's sequel :-) graphics look great!! very fun ^__^
Video game sequels fall on a spectrum between being more of what their predecessor was and being a completely different game, and Slime Rancher 2 learns very heavily towards the prior. The game does not reinvent itself, nor is it trying to; this is a sequel only for people who liked the first game, and it is a brilliant sequel of that type. Rainbow Island provides a very different map to explore with new slimes and secrets to discover, and the Conservatory provides a fresh environment for ranching, in which you can enjoy many quality-of-life improvements, such as the ability to place gadgets anywhere rather than being confined to pre-designated spots. The quality of the visuals and music are also both greatly improved, whilst maintaining the strong identity established in the first game. There are a couple of features that feel a little undercooked, namely the weather system which currently seems more like a proof of concept, and a few missing features or design changes that seem unnecessary, such as the removal of extractors. But ultimately the game is an incredibly satisfying sequel that will be enjoyed by any fan of its predecessor.
