Nice and fun racing game to play with friends! The ribbon road like is still really fun and gives creative tracks! So cool to play smiling animals! I was really interesting to follow the development of the game!
Good game, especially if you are looking for split screen racing games. I haven't actually tried more than 4 players but I kinda want to. The tracks definitely are interesting visually and the mechanics are pretty fun. I'd say this tops quite a few casual racing games that have much bigger budgets. For the price I definitely recommend.
Slide reminds me to crash bandicoot combined with mario kart. I think this game has so much potential. It would be nice to have the feeling of progression when playing with a second player, like having a race set and when it's over, having some rewards to the one who won. I chose this game because games don't allow to play physically anymore with a second player. I appreciate that feature from Slide. I love the fact that you can use animals for the race and they are super cute.
I played a demo and with no hesitation I bought a full game. It's fun, it's dynamic, It's perfect for a party of any kind. Your kid has kindergarden friends over? That's your shot. There are options designed for kids to make game 'easier' (i.e. prevent falling or auto pilot) You're after a cold one with your mates? Guess what, that's also your shot! Visuals are simple yet amazing, level design seems to favor creativity over pushing for the first place and don't even get me started on music - every map has a perfect piece of it. Default controls seems to be a bit weird for me, but remapping is very simple, aside from the fact that it has to be initiated by the first player. 10/10 would play again and agian and again!
Always wanted to be a yellow turtle, now that's possible :D I find the coloration of each animal super cute and well made, makes me wanna try them all. Special mention to the red seagull. The map are quite diversified with some crazy loops and level design. Lack a bit of solo objectives, the game is at its best when played with friends.
