Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.13/day in the week to Jul 21 → 0.8/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
So it looks like Steam reviews have either a 1443 words or a 7986 character limit which is a bummer since I can't publish my full review constisting of 3016 words (16.891 characters total) on here, but long story short: I LOVE MOORHUHN KART 4! While I would love to go in detail about everything, I will list some positives and negatives in an attempt to keep this review somewhat short (and readable). As a disclaimer, I am a long-time fan of the Moorhuhn series and a beta tester for Moorhuhn Kart 4, so in some aspects I might be biased. Positives: +Offline single-player modes help you get started and keep your attention for potentially hours. +Amazing offline splitscreen with support for up to 8 players! >This is an easter egg: Hold Shift and ESC on the main menu and you'll "upgrade" the Local Multiplayer Mode. +Fun cross-platform online multiplayer, so long as the host has a good connection. +Fun and engaging gameplay that challenges the player to input stuff constantly if they want to become really good. +Unique unlock criteria that make you engage with the game more than just grinding a set number of races. +Visually solid. +Beautiful animation work that lets every character’s personality shine. +Tracks offer tons of references for series veterans and allow newcomers to get a glimpse into the entire Moorhuhn series. +An item system that combines skill and luck in a satisfying manner and brings all skill levels closer together. +An overall not too steep but satisfying learning curve. +Native support for frame rates above 60. +Native support for wide range of different aspect ratios, including 21:9 and 32:9. Negatives: -The "Grand Prix" mode can be completed in about an hour. -Technical hurdles that hold back the "Time Trials" mode. -A lack of customization options leads to the offline modes feeling a bit "barebones." -Online mode is rather unfun when the host has a bad connection. -The collision has quite a few imperfections that can lead to frustration during gameplay. -Some tracks feel a bit overscaled/too long and, in some aspects, too empty (when there are not a lot of items in play during these sections). -Some visual imperfections that are rather easy to spot and cannot be „unseen“ -The overall sound design in general is rather forgettable. -The soundtrack is most likely nothing that will stay in your head for long or at all. -The bots sometimes are criminally stupid. -The stat screen displays the speed stat incorrectly ever since version 1.1.0 (please fix this). -The two-stroke engine is objectively better than the fan engine (it’s fixed in a private branch; please push the fix to the public if possible). -The game overall feels a bit "rough" around the edges for new players, like a game from the Gamecube/PS2 era. I might edit this review if the game receives further updates and/or if my viewpoints change over time. While I listed a lot of negatives (some of them being really critical for a game of this genre), the positives do heavily outweigh them for me personally; hence, why I still play the game semi-actively, and I am shocked to say that Moorhuhn Kart 4, which released in the same year as a new Mario Kart title and the AMAZING Sonic Racing Crossworlds, is not only my personal favorite kart racer of the year 2025 but also my Game of the Year 2025. I always feel the urge to return to this game because I got so addicted to its gameplay, and whenever I play this game with friends, I always have a good time. I enjoy everything about this game, including its jank and imperfections (excluding the sometimes wanky collision detection at walls), and it’s impressive how this game went from concept to finished product in about 11 months, which is a VERY strict time frame, especially if a development studio has never made a fun racer before, let alone a physics-based live online multiplayer game. I do understand that Moorhuhn Kart 4 is no groundbreaking title. It’s far from it. But that does not make me like it any less, and I would love to see more like it since this game is a good foundation to build upon. While I think that additional content in the form of DLC for Moorhuhn Kart 4 might not be coming … ever, I would love to see the team try their hand on a potential Moorhuhn Kart 5 sometime in the future. But I don’t want to rush anyone since I already have Moorhuhn Kart 4, which I quite frankly can’t get enough of. I really love this game, and whenever friends suggest playing some games in the evening, I always suggest Moorhuhn Kart 4. It’s my favorite game of the year 2025, and here are some words directed to everyone who contributed to Moorhuhn Kart 4 during its development: Thank you!

Moorhuhn Kart 4 is one of the few Steam games I would like to rate with a thumbs sideways. The driving feels a bit different from other fun racers, which feels refreshing. Some of the tracks are also designed in a fairly interesting way. Unfortunately, there are far too few tracks and drivers. On top of that, all the kart parts you unlock are actually worse than the ones available from the start, so there’s basically no reason to unlock them or experiment with different builds. I honestly have no idea who thought that was a good idea. For €4 during a sale, the game is definitely worth trying out and can provide a few hours of fun. However, I still have to give it a thumbs down because while playing online with friends, I repeatedly ran into the issue that hitting them with items didn’t register on their end. Because of that, it is only a single-player game to me. I really wish the earlier Moorhuhn Kart games were available on Steam...
Surely the best entry in the Moorhuhn Kart series. Previous games had the problem of not offering much to do, but here we finally get an online mode, leaderboards, unlockable upgrades, and three championships instead of two. For players who don’t want to compete with others, that issue might still exist but I’m definitely not one of them. That said, I was expecting a bit more from the progression system. In my opinion, the aspect that deserves the most praise is the art style. It’s very “Moorhuhn-like” and simply beautiful. You can really feel the soul of the Moorhuhn games, and there are some tasteful callbacks to earlier titles. I love the tracks, the animations pretty much everything you can look at. The soundtrack is okay not particularly memorable, but it fits the game well. I think previous entries in the series handled it a bit better, though. I’ve seen many reviews mentioning easy AI, but it seems like there was an update that fixed that. As an experienced player, I found it well-balanced, I was winning most of the time, but not always. And finally, the price. By Polish standards, the base price feels a bit too high for what the game offers, but maybe I’m wrong. I really hope this game blows up in popularity one day. I’d love to see a bigger speedrunning community around it.
Note: I got this game gifted by a friend after beating him in the demo. Ok, first things first. The Tl;Dr here would be something along the lines of "Gud Game, Do Play!". Now the somewhat longer version. This is a very nice game, especially for the price. It has a nice variety of stages and many colorful characters, that you may or maybe not know from back then when you were younger. Music-wise this game is very fitting and also very nice to listen to. So yeah, good OST. With its visuals the game feels to be more on the simpler side, which is by no means a bad thing. Actually, if you ask me, the simpler style actually helps with readability of what's actually going on, aside from having a very charming feel. Playing it solo is fun with the cups and time trials, online though is where its at. Should you get together with a few friends or some of the people you might randomly find, you can have some very intense matches given the balance of skill and luck with the items you can use to make it harder for your enemies to get into the finish line before you. It has a few flaws, but you can definitely look past them as long as you have a more casual mindset. This game screams "Lets Have Some Fun" and means it. While not being a perfect game, because let's be honest no game is, its just a very nice game. Could've done with some more stages but given the games development history, what we got is very fun and enough for intense and silly rounds. Especially if you play it with friends who are also loudmouths like oneself. My personal final note for this, you can feel how this game has a soul. Something I miss in a lot of games nowadays. A job well done, I'd say!

Man ha da schon ne gute Zeit.
My Game of the Year 2025! Colourful, fast and pretty fun. Get it when it's on sale and enjoy an immersive dive into the Moorhuhn (Crazy Chicken) Extended Universe!
Unironically the most fun I've had with a kart racer this year. Take notes Crossworlds
