Pretty good game with a lot of content and minigames regarding the price. With a good variety of weapons to try, you'll probablly find the one that fits your playstyle and with whitch you'll spend hours of scoring. In my case I spend so much time playing with the bow because the handling ability is so damn good, the accuracy is great and those archery minigames are quite fun to be honest ! Also the zen environnement is pretty nice with a music theme that doesn't make you nuts after hours playing the game. That's definetly the kind of game I'll keep returning from time to time over the year and have a good time.

Editing as the Developers released a fix. Cute game, can't wait to get some playtime.! Does not work on my Rift S. It just sits at "waiting" and tries to load while you can see the game on the monitor and hear sounds.
NOT playable if you dont have an A button..... i could´t even get to the intro......
Sky Sanctuary is a virtual reality action game developed and published by Glitchr Studio that combines martial arts practice, precision-based gameplay, and peaceful exploration within a floating world suspended high above the clouds. Instead of relying on an elaborate storyline or constant combat encounters, the game focuses on personal mastery, encouraging players to refine their techniques through a variety of physical challenges. Guided by a wise master, players gradually learn the disciplines of the samurai while uncovering the secrets hidden throughout the serene sanctuary. Its blend of action and relaxation creates an experience that stands apart from many traditional VR titles, offering both entertainment and a surprisingly calming atmosphere. The gameplay revolves around movement and accuracy, making full use of virtual reality's immersive controls. Players engage in sword training by slicing bamboo, targets, and other objects with carefully timed swings rather than frantic motions. Every strike rewards precision, encouraging players to develop proper technique instead of simply relying on speed. Archery serves as another major activity, requiring steady aim and careful control to hit distant targets consistently. These mechanics transform each session into a combination of skill development and physical exercise, making every successful challenge feel genuinely earned through practice and improvement. Beyond its combat-inspired activities, Sky Sanctuary emphasizes exploration across its collection of floating islands. The environment is designed to encourage curiosity, with scenic landscapes, hidden pathways, and small discoveries rewarding those who take the time to look around. A robotic companion accompanies players throughout their journey, adding personality to the otherwise tranquil setting while helping guide exploration. Although exploration remains relatively straightforward, the beautifully crafted surroundings create a peaceful contrast to the demanding training exercises, giving players opportunities to relax between more intense gameplay segments. Progression is centered on overcoming increasingly difficult trials that test reaction speed, coordination, and consistency. Rather than introducing complex RPG systems or extensive customization, the game focuses on refining player skill through repeated practice. Leaderboards and score-based challenges provide additional motivation for players who enjoy chasing personal bests or competing against others. This replay-oriented structure gives the experience lasting appeal despite its relatively modest amount of content, particularly for players who appreciate mastering mechanics over time rather than simply completing a linear campaign. Visually, the game succeeds by presenting a colorful and inviting world that complements its themes of balance and discipline. The floating sanctuary, expansive skies, and stylized architecture create a relaxing atmosphere that feels almost meditative. While the graphics are not intended to push cutting-edge realism, the artistic presentation effectively supports the game's focus on serenity and concentration. Combined with responsive motion controls and satisfying weapon interactions, the presentation enhances immersion without distracting from the core gameplay experience. The game does have a few shortcomings that may limit its appeal to certain audiences. Players searching for a lengthy story, numerous enemy encounters, or extensive progression systems may find the overall package somewhat limited. Most activities revolve around improving performance within existing challenges, which means the experience depends heavily on the player's willingness to replay content and perfect their skills. Some of the physical movements can also become tiring during longer sessions, especially for newcomers to virtual reality who are still adjusting to room-scale gameplay. Despite these limitations, Sky Sanctuary remains an enjoyable and thoughtfully designed VR experience that successfully delivers on its vision. It combines accessible martial arts mechanics, rewarding skill progression, and peaceful environmental design into a package that values focus and discipline over nonstop action. The result is a game that feels equally suited for players looking for a relaxing escape or those who enjoy honing their reflexes through repeated practice. While it may not offer the scale or depth of larger VR adventures, its polished mechanics and distinctive atmosphere make it a worthwhile addition to any virtual reality library. Rating: 7/10
it's pretty neat and a good price.
Between the atrocious loading time at the start and the actions not registering. I can't say I recommend this. I tried to like but I just can't. Visually it looks beautiful but the game play is just not there. Maybe if they update it tweaking some things around I'll try again but for now. This isn't it.
