«Giant Bear Rampage!» Review(En/RUS)
Gameplay: https://youtu.be/NbmhDoD6rUE
«Review(En):»
First-person Action&Arcade. The Giant Mutant Bear with Super Powers smash/crash and burn everything around. + 11 levels. + Survival mode and sandbox mode. + Nice Low Poly 3d graphics. + Funny Ragdoll Physics. + Destructible environment. + Collect mutation points and unlock 15 superpowers (Meteors, Gravity Vortex, Flamethrower, etc.). + Destroy trees to get a random health/energy bonus. + Break stones to open hidden locations. - Poor audio quality and the sound is too quiet.
«Review(RUS):»
The game is pretty cute. It's pretty much what you see in the steam preview. You destroy things as a giant bear, get powers, and then destroy more things. Pretty fun, but it gets old quickly.
Smashing bear fun!
What's it like? Ever wanted to be a giant bear who is on a powertrip? This is your chance. Gameplay Gameplay is smooth, simple as fun. You get to step on houses, smash up cars and wreck the world. You unlock new destructive abilities by collecting and using mutantpoints that laying around on the map. Controls WASD to move, QE for superpowers, mouse to aim and smash, space to jump. Difficulty There are multiple difficulty modes. The game will be more challenging as you progress to higher levels. You take damage from enemy shots, landmines and some explosions etc. Health is regenerating. You have to restart the level if you die. Progression In order to progress to next level you have to complete the previous level. You have to reach a certain score by destroying things and go to a checkpoint to complete a level. Graphics The world is low-poly and bright. It makes me happy. Options You can remap keybindings. It's possible to turn off bloom, vsync, post processing and have various other options. Sound Effects are neat (for example explosions have nice a fat bass sound) and music is silly and very fitting to the game. Pros Fun gameplay, smooth movement, enough content for the money. Cons Some of the levels feel rather large with downtime without action that you have to spend on traveling from one spot to another. Value This game has enough content to warrant the asking price and is worth buying.
Since there is a lot of empty space between cities(?) most of the play time is wasted on walking. Faster movement speed or sprinting would be great

I want to preface this article with the following: I have not 100% completed this game, and I never usually go for 100% completion. I am excited to 100% this game in the future. It is a very fun experience and a blast to play, even if I had a hard time with the technical limitations of my laptop. I recommend this game to anyone wanting to blow some steam or just have some fun. I also wanted to point out a few things that I noticed that could be better, but don't outright take away from the experience: 1. At the end of a level, it freezes the game and gives you a menu for Next Level, Continue Playing, and Quit to Menu. I'd love to see maybe an animation or something more than just pausing the game, maybe a little bit of an animation where the text comes in and it fades into the menu? 2. When you die, you get to see the first few frames of a death animation, but it never completes. Maybe allowing the animation to persist and continue into the Game Over Screen might make it feel less choppy? I also wanted to make a suggestion, not to take away from the game, but to add a new experience to it. A Multiplayer mode, whether cooperative or competitive, would be a really nice addition to the game. I had a few ideas for this. 1. One way would be two people going through the levels, and racking up points together. The Pros of this would be the game being shared with a friend at the same time and with the same experiences, but a Con would be that it might make the game a little easier, maybe too easy, unless you were to play on harder difficulties. 2. A Competitive game, where two or more players have the same map, but play separately, could also work. Whoever gets the Highest Score within Time / Whoever can reach a score first wins. 3. A Multiplayer Competitive Tower Defense game. Sounds weird, but hang on: imagine being a team game, where it could be a Bear (or multiple!) vs someone setting down a town and something to defend, and it be based on rounds. It would add incentive to a level up system, where if you win as the Bear, you get more points to upgrade your character (and maybe you'd start with lower health and energy and have to upgrade those too!), and if you win as the town, you'd get more money to secure your town. Multiplayer is just my personal views for replay value, and I know that server based multiplayer games can be a little hard sometimes, so maybe if he decided to put it in, it could be Direct Connection through IPv4? No matter what, this game is incredible, and I'm really glad I looked at Reddit when I did to see Mikey's post for the free code, and I am overwhelmingly excited to see where he takes this game. If you'd like to see my reaction to the game (even if it was kinda laggy) you can check it out at http://streamlabs.com/st4rlyt3/v2 Thank you for staying until the end of my long rant. This game is fantastic, and you should get it. Especially if you love Godzilla type stories of Kaiju attacks, or if you'd just like to blow some steam from a stressful day.
I like this one. Love the feeling of being giant like godzila and the powers are fun and make you get lost in your God complex of who sees tomorrow and who don't.... Mha Mha mahhahaha...
This is very cool. Become a giant Kaiju bear with super powers. Kill all who would dare oppose you. My one criticism is that the mutations are spread into areas where nothing else is, which makes sense if you are trying to encourage exploration but this game should be encouraging DESTRUCTION, not exploration. All the time spent away from destroying things felt wasted to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NUqEcCilSqY
What i would like to know: does our government have its own anti giant bear plans, cause i swear this could happen in real life
This ♥♥♥♥ was fire. A giant bear calling down meteors to destroy a city is certainly a sight to behold. https://youtu.be/iKQoAQNTF5c
