this game has genuinely so much potential, i couldnt stop playing it until i got to the end of early access!! the way new mechanics are introduced are so SO innovative and this is such a perfect way to use mouse controls for a rhythm game, and the themeing and everything is just so on-point! the game has surprising similarities to beatblock but like, surpasses it in every way imo; really excited to see what this is when it's fully out!!
I have never gotten my ass beaten more thoroughly than trying to catch a catfish in this game 10/10
This Game is a Absolute gem in the rhythm game space lovely fishing mechanics that layer progressively makes the experience for first time rhythm gamers enjoy too if you are contemplating picking this game up i would totally give it a shot
Great rythm game, especially for people that struggle with pressing lots of buttons, was pretty confused about how it worked at first but the manual explains it pretty well.
The Plate Spinning of Rhythm Games. Early Access is about 3-5 hours of content to complete (as of review date), but what is shown perfectly showcases an innovative and brilliantly stressful Rhythm Game experience that I've never encountered before. The base difficulty is fairly high, especially with some of the large and largest fishes, with a fairly unforgiving 'Tension' system. The English is rough around the edges, but perfectly understandable - It doesn't damper the experience of exploring and learning new mechanics. Very much looking forward to following this game's journey.
This game is insanely good, like genuinely amazing. I don't play that many rhythm games, I'm pretty bad at most of them, but this one caught my eye and I am very glad I picked it up. It's cute, charming and unique in all the right ways. The music and designs are all wonderful and varied, and I feel the charts are very well put together. It's also well polished and full of content for how early in development it. I do think the difficulty does spike a little too much after the first area, maybe even at the first boss but the game is fun enough that losing doesn't feel like losing and feels more like practice. (Personally, at least.) Oh and it also has workshop support which really surprised me. I really didn't think I'd like this game as much as I do but something about it just clicked with me. Overall, I'd say this game is well worth the price tag and I believe it'll stay that way as it increases. I am very excited to see what gets added next.
amazing little rhythm game with good music and nice visuals, not done at time of writing but was enjoying it enough to want to leave a review. They made a fishing minigame that's actually fun!!!
Genuinely one of the most unique, intense, and fun rhythm games I've ever found. The game is difficult but its that satisfying kind of difficult, where once you figure it out you feel euphoric. I've only played it for 2 days but it's etched itself deep in my brain. On top of the normal gameplay theres secrets, lovely atmosphere, puzzles, it's all so good AUGH. I can't sing praises of this game enough.
Amazing game but good lord I am so ass at it.
I love fishing games, i love rhythm games. Why not both? And it is masterfully crafted
