I love fishing games, i love rhythm games. Why not both? And it is masterfully crafted

The Plate Spinning of Rhythm Games. Early Access is about 3-5 hours of content to complete (as of review date), but what is shown perfectly showcases an innovative and brilliantly stressful Rhythm Game experience that I've never encountered before. The base difficulty is fairly high, especially with some of the large and largest fishes, with a fairly unforgiving 'Tension' system. The English is rough around the edges, but perfectly understandable - It doesn't damper the experience of exploring and learning new mechanics. Very much looking forward to following this game's journey.

Great rythm game, especially for people that struggle with pressing lots of buttons, was pretty confused about how it worked at first but the manual explains it pretty well.

MAN this game is awesome! I've only really played unbeatable in terms of other rhythm games that I got pretty good at, but this one is another level of satisfying once you get the hang of juggling all the mechanics. The central reeling mechanic is my favorite since it allows you to hit on beats/find timings on your own with your own sense of rhythm instead of hitting predetermined notes like unbeatable or a more traditional rhythm game. Not like it leaves that part out though! Other mechanics use that predetermined note-style so you really do get the best of both worlds here, hitting a sequence to the beat that you read and also using your own creativity to add onto the song with your reels its sooooooo cool! The reeling mechanics are piled on a little thick at the beginning there/sometimes thrown at you a little fast like that one negative reviewer said, but honestly if you can stick with the discomfort for just a little bit it gets suuuuuuuuuper satisfying! The one thing I'd say is a lot of the new mechanics after the basics are only explained to you [b] after [/b] you play through them for the first time, which i feel like the little tutorial blurb could be moved to right before the encounter so you don't feel totally blindsighted the first time. Again though it's so innovative AND fun! Game says partial controller support but I played through the whole thing on it and it was super comfortable, so you if you already like using controller go for it!
