About
SimplePlanes 2 is the long-awaited sequel to the original aircraft-building classic, featuring new parts, shiny new graphics, chaotic multiplayer, new physics, and more!

Build planes using enhanced wing and fuselage parts. It's easier than ever to build the plane of your dreams! Reshape the airfoil of your wings using real NACA profiles with overhauled flight physics, or use improved fuselage editing to create an endless variety of shapes. Then grab your input device of choice (mouse/keyboard, controller, and HOTAS are all supported) and fly!

Build anything else you can imagine using a host of new parts. With the new suite of procedural powertrain parts, you can build cars, propeller aircraft, forklifts, and so much more, with detailed physics. If you're overwhelmed by the idea of building something from scratch, there are tons of stock crafts available from the start that you can load, tune, and reverse engineer, with an extra 40+ hidden around the map waiting to be discovered!

Make your crafts your own with paint texturing and engine tuning. Once you've put your craft together, you can use the improved paint tool to give it colour and texture. Then when that's done, you can get into the nitty gritty with engine customization, tweaking the size, cylinder count, transmission, and more to get your craft running exactly the way you want it.

Craft procedural missiles and blow your enemies to smithereens. SimplePlanes 2 features a brand new procedural missile part that gives you a blank canvas to create the perfect weapon. Change the size, the guidance type, give it as many visual details as you want, and more! Then you can watch it turn your target into a fireball with the new volumetric explosions!

Take your new creation through beautiful environments packed with detail. The new SimplePlanes Archipelago is a lovingly crafted world covered in trees, roads, rivers, airports, and even a race track. Explore 787 square kilometers of detailed terrain above and below the water, drive through 330 kilometers of roads, explore Vetusta City, or take to the seas with new water graphics and physics.

Cause chaos in a variety of activities in multiplayer, or just hang out. With multiplayer, you can play with up to nine other players (or even more in a private lobby) and finally test your crafts on something other than bots. Race each other, kill each other, co-operate with each other, and more! And with our new playable mascot, Major Chad, you can get out and stretch your legs with other players as well!

Download 1,000,000+ crafts made by the community for free, even from SimplePlanes 1. SimplePlanes 2 features backwards compatibility with crafts made in the original SimplePlanes, meaning over a decade of history is seamlessly playable just as it was before. Please note that while we've made an effort to support these old crafts as well as possible, we still can't guarantee that all of them will behave the way they were originally supposed to.

I make missile that go 10km in 1 second game good life good
I am a scrooge when it comes to aircraft building games, and unfortunately this one does not pass the bar. For those who are serious about literal creative freedom in designing aircraft, you may find that Flyout is a better game than this, if only because of how unfathomably clunky the controls are. The graphics are good, the music isn't grating on the ears and addition of multiplayer automatically puts it in a league of its own. But when the preferred method of constructing aircraft is by wrestling with giant chunky fiddly arrows instead of vertex points measured precisely with X Y Z numerals, you're going to discover this game lets you down more often than not. For instance, Sprocket and Flyout both understand that clicking RMB while holding a stretched or otherwise moved vertex point resets said vertex to whatever it was before, a kind of 'quick undo'. There is no such finesse in this game, meaning that if you want to undo a mistake you'll spend more time dragging your mouse all over the screen. In fact, this goes for just about every aspect of the designer. The ergonomics, put simply, are atrocious. The separation of the movement gizmos is flatly unintuitive and severely lacking. Holding Shift and Alt is all well and good until the effects of holding those keys differ between selected faces and whole parts. You may stretch one end of a fuselage part only to find that, despite the mirror widget being enabled, the other side did not, and so if you wish to be perfectly symmetrical (or what this game considers perfect asymmetry - more on that later), you'll have to hit the undo button and try it all over again + fix the positioning of your now out of alignment part. The symmetry is arbitrary. You will find some parts stretched unevenly if you zoom in and look hard enough and frankly, that sucks. The visual bugs are a gut punch when you notice them, because they take the form of giant gaps between otherwise connected segments of the same fuselage. I have no doubt that this game could be amazing but it looks and articulates like a mobile game, because it is one. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it just has the feel and quality of some admittedly high end game from the golden age of the Apple store - which was well over a decade ago, for you young'ns, like Battleship Craft or the like.
very nice
zabavne
полностью отсутствует механика полета ракеты, не работают маневры и ловушки. Так же есть приколы с общей физикой самолета, но я спишу это на ранний доступ. Не стоит того.
fun
Great game. Building system in SP2 is much better than in SP1. Servers are good, multiplayer runs well. Could add other maps or ai enemies to the game.
Great game! I used to play trailmakers and thought it was amazing, but then i got simpleplanes 2 and realized just how limited trailmakers really is. If you like designing building testing and tweaking things, this is the game for you. Also, the funky trees system (basically math expressions and its kinda like programming) allows for some absolutely insane builds. Autopilot systems, fly by wire, auto trim, are all things you can do fairly easily, and the pros can do stuff much cooler than that. it takes time to learn but once you do there are basically no limits to what you can do. also based on the roadmap, theres some really cool stuff coming in the future (there may even be lua scripts at some point which will be funky trees on steroid, i cant wait to see what people do with that)
i am an aviation nerd so, i built my rc plane plane i then crashed it too, i cried a lot cannot help it too and then i found simpleplanes 2
