Going into the later difficulties now, the game is VERY VERY fun. Although a few more perks would probably be nice, what is offered as of right now is definitely a very good deal for it's price. 100% deserves more attention.
A fun lil game. Not much else to say, honestly.
very Very novel game, big recommend. its something youll come back to a lot
.
very good game makes me feel like i actually used my money wisely (and a damn good price too)
Is there a way to disable the mouse? I wan to dash in the direction I am going with the keyboard but then I go to where my mouse is. It's hard to always have to move the mouse in the middle of combat when so much focus has to be put into how you are moving with the keyboard.
The developer seems to know about Hammerfight but he didn't get to understand what made Hammerfight bad DON'T. ADD. PROJECTILES. AND. EXPLOSIVES. TO. A MELEE. BASED. GAME. I deleted most of my old negative review, read the update below. First hand experience. UPD. As 2024 ends, I decided to give this game another shot. This is how it feels to play Sigma Balls at level 15. First of all, projectiles are everywhere. There are enemies that spawn bullet projectiles in a flower-like pattern. Even one of those can make it impossible to navigate an arena. You can not deflect these bullets, you can only hope they despawn before you fly into them. Second, arenas don't grow up with level, but enemy count does. You can have 20 enemies in a single box with you. The arena becomes so crowded you don't even have enough space to wind up your weapon anymore. Your enemies don't need space though as they mostly deal damage on contact. If you aren't taking damage you are stunned and lose control over your flyer. Most of the enemies are slumbering upon entering the arena, but... Third, protected enemies. These enemies cannot be harmed until a special block hidden in corner of the arena iis destroyed. Naturally, by getting there, you awake more enemies. Which can also be protected. Also these blocks explode. But, unlike other explosive blocks, you have to destroy these. If your weapon is too short - take damage. Also, those protected enemies can have regular armor as well. ALSO, they can be projectile enemies. Imagine that, you have a protected bullet spammer in full armor in the middle of the arena, the box of protection is hidden somewhere behind explosive boxes and slumbering enemies in the corner of the arena, two other enemies are constantly chasing you, the entire arena is covered with lingering bullets, and as a cherry on the top... It's dark. For some reason, most of the time you literally can't see a half of the arena. Which only makes you run into projectiles and enemies way more often. Good luck even finding that box of protection btw. It completely prevents you from spotting homing explosive enemeis until they get too close to you. Very fair, thank you very much. It also doesn't help that controls aren't that responsive. You feel like you swim in oil. Hammerfight gave you enough control over your weapon and ship to successfully deflect enemies' weapons and projectiles. In this game, you often have just enough time to dodge, but dash is on cooldown and there is too many enemies. I love this game, but unfortunately it is deeply flawed. The game tries to increase its difficulty with levels, but it does not change any mechanics, weapons, enemies or arenas. It just spawns more enemies with armor. A cheap and lame decision. I doubt that melee-only mode can fix that. Or anything else, to be honest.
It's fun and definitely a good value. The physics based game play is simple to understand but opens up possibilities limited only by a players imagination and skill. (Similar to how players in Rocket League raised the skill ceiling over the years.) But it's not some stupid grindy mess like RL. And it doesn't have ads!!!!! And when you hit some combos and the music starts going HARD :)... Plus it can be fun without having to be intense which can be nice after work sometimes. Its fun without requiring a huge mental investment just to get started but the physics can make for some pretty deep mechanical game play.
это просто шедевер! но все таки мне бы хотелось что бы они добавили больше боссов что бы было больше похоже на рогалик p.s. если вы не хотите боль в руках то играйте с контролерром
good game
