Song of the Myrne: What Lies Beneath

Quick and simple Indie RPG. I acquired this game in a dollar bundle. Installed to drop the cards and ended up playing long after to completion. There is something very playable about it. The ease of controls and crafting certainly drew me in; the funny item descriptions and dialogue kept me interested. The story surprised me and I was a little gutted it ended so quickly. The graphics are pixel but the music is pretty good. The quests and combat are very easy, death is unimportant. Recommended for mature players - swearing and innuendo.. in your endo! :P

It's a pretty good game. Why don't I reccomend it then? Well, it's really short. It could've been a lot longer, and the ending sucked. (Spoilers) The ending is just you walking up a stairway and then it ends the game. All that build up for such a horrible ending and incredibly easy final boss.

Игра понравилась, хоть это и пиксельный инди-проект. Представляет она собой короткое, но вполне интересное РПГ-приключение. Вы берёте на себя роль паренька, который вернувшись домой, обнаруживает свою благоверную убитой. Естественно его обуревает желание найти убийцу и покарать его. С этого и начинается ваше приключение. Геймплей типичен для ролевой игры. Сражаетесь с различными врагами, получаете очки опыта и прокачиваете на них скиллы. Выполняете квесты, занимаетесь крафтингом и исследуете локации, которых немного в игре, но все они отличаются друг от друга. Лута в игре достаточно много, как и оружия. Музыкальное сопровождение звёзд с неба не хватает, но и не раздражает. В общем, неплохая и весёлая игрушка с пиксельной графикой, в которую вполне можно сыграть.

What Lies Beneath is a Zelda-style action RPG game. You can craft a lot of items and weapons. Well, the game is not bad. But it has too much bug. After 14 hours of play, I encountered a fatal bug in the main story. It destroyed everything and forced me to restart the game from beginning. Now I lost interest in this game. Cons: - You only can save the game to one file. - The foolish autosave system will save the progress after you change the map. So if you have made a serious mistake, your save file will be covered. - You can't get the boss key if you change the map, and you will never get it anymore. Because the boss is invincible now. This is the biggest bug that ruined my game. - There have many trees in the map. But you can't cut them. The only way to get woods is buy them from the shop. - You will never get another shovel if you sell it. - Sometimes you can't loot items from enemy because they dropped near a door. Click them will open or close the door.

Nice little action RPG. I played through the game at a leisurely pace and 100 percented it in 6 and a half hours. A lot of my play time was spent grinding but after finishing the game I realized that you really don't need to grind in this game so you could definitely finish quicker if you wanted to. It has nice simple pixel graphics and the music is fairly relaxing. The story is simple and has a little humour to it. I didn't try any of the multiplayer so I can't comment on that. Crafting is in the game but you don't have to worry about it if you don't want to. Really just a nice little action RPG.

I really played this game for the first time today, and I have to say, it's amazing! Pros: Sound Track (A selection of varying genres with great composition) Learning curve Combat Economics Potions A nice amount of history to the land A funny twist on a classic-style RPG It's like ROTMG, but with more of a story and more intricate game mechanics. Cons: Beginning enemies are very difficult, which can be seen as either a pro or a con. I see it as a con because the game instantly is throwing you a fastball, and if executed correctly, this can be good for fast-paced action games, but thiss is not one. That about does it for this review. TO POTENTIAL BUYERS: Before you purchase this game, try Realm of the Mad God first, it's free and quite similar to this game, just a little easier and minor changes to gameplay. Thanks for reading!

Bad game dont buy it

英语不是很难，故事有点无聊，游戏设置的小合成在这个小游戏里面还没大显身手就完结了，故事太短了，有个成就好像是遛猫咪，戳中了我的萌点，遛得很开心。换服装这个在小小的像素点上面也蛮萌得。
