Sid Meier's Civilization® V

I used to play this game for so long during the pandemic. I mean, it's a stereotype for this genre, but I would literally play for, like, 12 hours at a time to finish a round. For me, I'm kind of slow, and the multiplayer is a bit hard since I'm on a Mac. But I recommend this game, since it's often at a good discount. I like strategy type games, but this one is definitely a time crunch. Also, a bit of a learning curve. I remember watching YouTube tutorials to learn how to play this game better, aha... I try not to get too into this game, though, since it really is a huge time crunch.

Потрясающая и простая стратегическая игра. В неё легко вникнуть, и для тех, кто раньше практически не играл в стратегии, она подойдёт идеально. Но пусть простота вас не обманывает — именно в этом и заключается вся прелесть игры. Лично я провёл в ней много часов, просто чтобы опробовать каждую цивилизацию, и мне всегда было интересно. Каждая партия была уникальной: разные карты, разные сценарии, и всегда происходило что-то новое. В игре также есть несколько режимов, в которых можно изменять множество настроек, и она отлично поддерживает моды от сообщества. У меня никогда не было никаких проблем с игрой, и я определенно рекомендую ее всем, кто любит стратегии. По моему мнению, Civilization V намного лучше, чем более поздние версии CIV. Честно говоря, это идеальная игра для вечерних игр с друзьями. 8.7/10

Civilization V is a turn-based strategy game where you start with a small group of hopeful settlers, a warrior with a stick, and the dream of building the greatest empire the world has ever seen. That dream usually lasts about 14 turns before barbarians appear out of nowhere, steal your worker, burn your improvements, and remind you that maybe your people were happier living in tents. I have spent over 1,000 hours playing Civilization V. In that time, I have founded cities, built wonders, researched technologies, negotiated peace, declared war, accidentally upset every major world leader, and somehow convinced myself that “just one more turn” is a reasonable thing to say at 1:43am. It never is. Civilization V is basically world history, but with more passive-aggressive trade deals and Gandhi threatening nuclear war because you looked at him funny. The aim is simple. Keep your people happy. Keep your cities growing. Keep the barbarians away from the front door. Try not to annoy Gandhi. The last one is impossible. You can spend hundreds of years building libraries, universities, roads, farms, markets, and a proud peaceful nation. Then Gandhi turns up with the smile of a man who has discovered uranium and has absolutely no chill. One minute you are trading spices. The next minute Delhi has a nuclear arsenal and you are wondering if building the Hanging Gardens was really worth this level of international tension. And yet, I love it. I love building an empire from nothing. I love racing another civilisation to a wonder. I love pretending I am a peaceful leader while quietly surrounding someone’s border with artillery. I love telling myself I will stop after the next turn, then watching the sun come up like a man who has made poor life choices. After 1,000 hours, I can confidently say I understand Civilization V. I understand happiness. I understand culture. I understand science. I understand diplomacy. I still do not understand why Gandhi is like this. 10/10, would build one more empire and get nuked again.

Если хотите быть чмом которого все футболят(на дипломатическом уровне) то это игра для вас. Тут тебе нельзя: вести торговлю с городами-государствами объявлять войны по уважительным причинам использовать ядерное оружие шпионить распространять идеологию и ещё много чего ещё НЕЛЬЗЯ. но ИИ это всё МОЖНО Короче будь терпилой и заглатывай ядерки от Ганди. 10/10

Like all parts, playing from CIV 1, but ADD F&KIG UKRAINE moscow cossaks - wtf??? And there is more stolen by rusians stuff

The game works fine for months then stops loading for no discoverable reason. Steam support is AWOL. Steam sells the game then washes its hands.
