For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Crashes way too much. I even tried to follow the steam community nerd recommendations to fix it and it still happens like once an hour. Other than that, game is pretty fun, just not fun enough to deal with all the crashes and constantly losing progress. It can't autosave during the crane operation, so if you get unlucky and get a crash during a bunch of crane stuff, you lose all that progress.
Recently starting playing with a friend in multiplayer. The game is great in single player but on the multiplayer side is plagued with syncing issues, tools don't work properly, often the clients cant swap tools and need to click the "Click if you're stuck" button. The developers continue to release DLCs for the game while not fixing core gameplay mechanics. I do not recommend purchasing unless you intend to play solo.
Multiplayer hopelessly broken. Since it was implemented. Devs could care less, they are more concerned will shipping overpriced low content DLCs.
Tried to supplement space engineers and hard space ship breaker with this ♥♥♥♥. Never again. Avoid at all costs. Playway is a monopoly of ♥♥♥♥ games.
(🇬🇧 English version follows the French review below) Mise à jour du jeudi 05 mars 2026, à propos de Ship Graveyard Simulator 3 Les développeurs ont annoncé Ship Graveyard Simulator 3, actuellement listé sur Steam.

Conclusion : Est-ce que je recommande ? NON.

Update – Thursday, March 5, 2026 – about Ship Graveyard Simulator 3 The developers have announced Ship Graveyard Simulator 3, which is already listed on Steam. For this sequel, they have chosen to move to Unreal Engine 5. They also acknowledge that “The engine powering Ship Graveyard Simulator 2 has technical limitations that we simply cannot overcome anymore”. The goal seems clear: start again on a more modern technical foundation. Logically, the game should be designed from the ground up to stay smooth and stable, even with much larger ships and more complex environments. No release date has been announced yet. However, it is already possible to sign up for the playtest via the game's Steam page.

Je t'aime moi non plus... (I love you... me neither)
Over 2600 hours at the time of writing. That is how long I have spent on this game. It is, by far, my most played title on Steam. And yet, I cannot recommend it. It is a toxic relationship, a true video game version of "Je t'aime moi non plus" (a love-hate relationship). Why a negative review after so many hours? Because the technical experience has become a shipwreck. The paradox: The core is good, the shell is broken On paper, this game is a gem for relaxation. It is "chill," in the same vein as Powerwash Simulator. Graphically, while not groundbreaking, it isn't ugly and gets the job done. You start a session, you dismantle, and you don't notice the hours flying by. It is addictive, it is satisfying... until the game engine fails you. The major technical issue: Non-existent optimization The reason I have so many hours is simply because I am forced to restart career modes from scratch over and over again.

Start of the game: Everything is fluid.
After about ten ships: The performance degrades violently.
The result: Even on a recent gaming PC (tested and reproduced on several machines), the game drops below 10 FPS. It becomes painful, then totally unplayable.
This is where my negative rating comes from. The game punishes your progression with inevitable technical degradation. Updates that make things worse The worst part of this "Je t'aime moi non plus" story is the developer support. Bugs reported years ago are still there. The official response is invariably "we are aware, we are working on it," but nothing has changed in years. Updates supposed to help often bring new problems. Instead of fixing the hull, they are drilling new holes. Conclusion: Do I recommend it? NO. Not in its current state. As long as the developers don't get moving to fix these drastic, unexplained FPS drops and persistent bugs, it's a big no. I really hope they fix it, but for now: save your money.
Quite fun on the Steam Deck. I get 60fps and the controls are pretty good. I come from beating Hardspace: Shipbreakers and looking for something like it. This is close but also more accessible for controllers since it remove the 6 DoF environment. There are some issues with the UI and controllers though: its hard to see what you have selected (easy fix) and sometimes i result in using mouse input. Also every once and a while the entire UI locks up and i cant close any of the menus. I wish the game had a little more depth to it, like previously mentioned HS:SB but it still enjoyable. For example, at the moment i almost never use any of the other tools, they seem optional. I just break everything around points that you need to saw and this causes them to break automatically, which also saves a lot of time. Picking up stuff you broke is kind of repetitive and tedious with lots of little items. While in, HS:SB lots of debris is usually a punishment from doing something wrong. It defiantly has promise to being a really fun game if it got some more polish.
