Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

after I 100% completed the game, now I can give it a fair review: - games core mechanics are simple, book ships, destroy the same few props on the ship, sell the resources, upgrade your stuff and thats it - game gets repetitive fairly quick because you literally do the same sh*t over and over - there are a few bugs as well for example on some props the crit spot doesnt proc, you cannot always climb the ladders and very rarely you cannot cut through the electrical cabinet - its a game that you can play while watching yt videos or series to not get bored to death would I still recommand it? hell no.
I gave this game a chance but I can't bring myself to leave a positive review. The thing that made me stop playing is the screwed up UI for upgrades. When I select something, it shows something completely different and because of this, some of the upgrades are completely unobtainable. On top of this, apparently it's too hard for the developers to make items stack properly. Moving items around is a pain because they always move only five at a time no matter the stack size. Save your money, don't buy this. It's very lazily made.

I had a really great time with this game so it's disappointing that I can't bring myself to recommend it. When the game works it's a fun exercise in destruction and I happily sank quite a few hours into it. The problem is that it's an unstable, buggy mess. - On my first save slot I experienced multiple crashes. - That first save slot had to be abandoned when the file corrupted and couldn't be loaded anymore. - On the second save slot I no longer experienced the crashing and save corruption. My only bugbear was some sloppy inventory logic that made stacking multiple items a peculiar exercise. - As I uninstall the game I still don't have the 'Marathon' achievement long past when I should have gotten it. There's a lot of fun to be had in SGS but the lack of stability makes it an uneasy time. It's sad to see that despite widespread reported issues on Steam, the developer is doing nothing to address them, most likely because they are much too busy supporting the sequel and developing the third game in the series. If you're willing to take a gamble for small monies then give it a go but be prepared for headaches and a lot of wasted time.
I recently picked up this game either free or on deep discount and was surprised at how much enthusiasm I have for it. I bought the submarine DLC because the game is great ! I would have thought the game would appeal more to boys but I find this very relaxing and engaging. Looking forward to completing the entire series.
Tearing down massive wrecks piece by piece makes Ship Graveyard Simulator a surprisingly therapeutic time-killer. Sadly, its gear upgrades fall totally flat early on. Without meaningful perks or tools to strive for, breaking down every last vessel turns into a pointlessly hollow exercise. It’s lovely for a brief, relaxed session, but lacks the depth to keep you scrapping.
