She's Leaving

She's Leaving is one of those horror games that has a great concept and a decent even if a little too predictable story that still manages to keep you interested all the way through but at the same time you can't help but to think there was potential for so much more here. Gameplay loop briefly teases you with doing some forensics but that ultimately ends up being a surface level mechanic that gets dropped fairly quickly and the majority of the gameplay loop simply revolves around finding keys (or other objects) to access various rooms, occasionally solving minor puzzles and doing bit of running away or hiding from a fairly easily avoidable immortal stalker enemy. That being said I still had fun during my playthrough which took a little over 2 hours and I think the shorter duration was a good choice as the game ended before it started to feel too repetitive. Taking in account the reasonable pricing for a shorter game I'd recommend She's Leaving for genre veterans that are looking for an entertaining ~2-3 hours or so but if you're new to horror games I think there are plenty of better options to pick from.

Ich bin richtig begeistert, was ich hier für unter 10€ bekommen habe. Die Story fesselt, die Grafik ist eine 10/10, es gab bei mir keinen einzigen Bug, das Gameplay kombiniert Resident Evil mit Spurensuche. Ich war von Anfang bis Ende richtig im Spiel versunken. Ich habe ca. 3h gebraucht. Großes Lob an die Entwickler, bitte weiter so!

Great graphics and great audio and Great Devs that listened to players and recently added a detective story mode where u can play the entire game without worrying about a stalker presence. Very responsive Devs. The price is well worth the game play!

I absolutely loved this! The story is great, the atmosphere is fantastic and the visuals are very impressive. This game also does some really interesting things mechanically, especially the forensics stuff, that I really enjoyed and would love to see more of!! I would STRONGLY recommend this game and I cannot wait to see what this team does next!!

It's showy, it's oppressive, but the only opponent is more annoying than scary, because I can easily run him down or knock him down and leave him wallowing in his own urine.

After beating the game 3 times, I have my final thoughts. The game is beautiful, has a really nice OST and runs flawlessly on my PC. The story in itself is strong but lacking just that little bit more if you get what I mean, the finale leading up to finding out who the Stalker is and entering his cabin is a little underwhelming but overall, when you are playing in the manor the gameplay is super solid. A few minor bugs here and there but overall for an indie studio this is one of the best indie games I have played in a while. Kudos to Sam, Josh and the rest of the team for their creation, can't wait to see what's next for the team. Huge well done.

鑑識官となってヘイウッドの連続失踪事件を捜査する『She's Leaving』がコンパクトにまとまっていながらも、高品質で良かったです。血痕を分析したり、やたら多用途なテーザー銃でアレコレしながら、物語の真相に近づいていきます。寒い季節にふさわしい、もの悲しさに包まれた良作でした。 敵が出てこないモードもあるので、焦らず捜査したい人にもお勧めできる新設設計でした。

Di base si tratta di un gioco investigativo dove dovrete mettere in pratica le vostre skill da agente della polizia forense, in un caso misterioso in cui i vostri superiori non voglio che voi indaghiate. Il gioco vive principalmente di due fasi, una nella quale cercherete di analizzare le tracce di sangue che troverete in giro e l'altra nella quale "giocherete a nascondino" con delle entità non meglio precisate che si trovano nella Haywood House. Pros: Graphics, Optimization, Art Design, & Mechanics (apart from having to press LMB twice to shoot). Cons: Enemy Audio, Random Door Open/Shut Audio constantly.. Spatial audio as a whole. The story was a tad hard to follow with many names that seemed to not be memorable. Detective work didn't feel rewarding and blood spatter analyzing seemed like a random mechanic displayed in other random parts of the manor. [spoiler] The way Charles kills the lightkeeper at the end was anticlimactic. No gameplay, no cutscene... just a fade to black. Not sure why he rushed to kill him with backup on the way. Felt too Dexter-y.[/spoiler] Overall, I think the devs have a lot of potential. With a little more meat in their execution, they'll be great.
